Wednesday WEIGH-IN - come on in

I lost 1.2 pounds. I should be happy but I'm a bit disappointed because if I would have eaten better I probably could have lost more. I set my goal at 1 pound a week so I'll take it, although AF leaving was probably the reason the scale weighed at least a pound less. rolleyes.gif

I'm exercising now so I guess the scale will go up before going down since I will be gaining muscle. Not sure if I like that, though. Last time I lost all my weight before working out, so this will be different for me.

Our Lil' Family replied: I lost the 2 lbs that I didn't know about last week....so technically I'm back at my starting point.....but I did lose the 2 lbs even with AF's arrival!

booey2 replied: Congrats on losing, I have on scale so I don't know numbers but I know I feel better. Last week I got to the halfway point my mini exercise challenge til I hurt my knee. I got back on my gazelle last night and felt great after it. So I am going at it slow and steady. Congrats again and keep up the great work. cheerleader.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I lost 1 pound. I was really surprised because I was on AF last week and really didn't expect to lose anything. I am really proud of myself though I am barley snacking (that was my BIGGEST problem!!) So now if I snack I have a yogurt or a low/no fat snack.

So - I lost... I was 195.4 last week.

I'll take .6 of a pound! biggrin.gif Especially with all the junk I ate this week... unsure.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: I am down .5lbs not as much as I wanted but it still a loss so I will take it and keep going. I was really fearful that I woudl be the same or gain and then give up, again. That even this small loss will keep me going. I seem to have in my mind once I get 10lbs that I will really stick with it, its just getting thoes first 10lbs off. My biggest issue is night time after work and weekend wanting thing I should nto have and eating more than I should. Cravings which are finally subsiding were terrible also, some were sooo hard to controll and water was not helping. I did drink about 80oz yesterday ohmy.gif I usually stop at 60-65oz cause for me to much will dry out my skin.

This is such a great group. All week I just kept thinking all Karen said we have to lose is 1lb. Like you are in charge of what I lose. rolling_smile.gif

I went from 156 to 154..so 2lbs offically!

I am having AF..so I am amazed. I guess the water and exercise is working!

You know taking pics helps me.. Here I am leaving for work this morning. Excuse the sweater..it makes my middle fat. That is still were I need to lose. But I down another 10lbs I think I would be happy!

So..my goal now says..150..but I think 145 is more what I want to see for me.

I am so tired of having a big fat gut! No matter what I do. I am going to get some yoga dvd's. They are suppose to be good at toning. I hope it works.

It seems when I wear jeans..No matter how lose or comfortable I am..my jeans push up a roll of fat. And sweaters are the worse for showing it. One reason I never wear them!

Oh they will, trust me. Mine shrunk, but my hips never went back to normal. I'm thinking they won't either. So for me my legs/thighs got skinnier after losing all the weight after Kylie BUT my hips stayed spread far so for me I looked even funnier....at least to myself I did. dry.gif Hopefully that won't be a problem for you. But you WILL see them shrink!

I post the pics for 2 reasons! It helps me see my progress from where I started at 215. It helps me to not get so discouraged. 2. It lets me see what I need to work on..which depresses me again..lol That big fat roll is killing me know.

No matter what I wear..it gets worse I swear!

My legs and butt have always been a down fall for me. They have always been small and I hate it. I want some junk in my trunk. I want some booty. I have always felt like I was huge on top and had these little bird legs. I guess no one is ever happy!

My hips have stayed as wide as always..I have lost a few inches! And I hope to lose more !

Kaitlin'smom replied: Mel then I suggest Yoga BOOTY Ballet, it really is working my booty and I do feel a difference in my gut as well. My gut hangs funny so I am hoping to change that some I know it will never be flat but smaller and not flopping over is my goal.

I'm down 3 pounds this week which brings me back to my December weight. I ran last week 2x, did my transFIRMer series 3x (well, 2.5 tongue.gif ) and did my basic training class 2x. So that was 3 cardios and 3.5 toning/weight training. I"m going to run this afternoon and one of the tapes tonight, I think.

honestly I am not sure I would think so since we do a lot with the booty, so I think it will do both casue a lose and firm and it might even help with those who want more. I have only been working on it since the 1st of Jan I am feeling some results already. My booty to me seems a little saggy so we will see if it firms up and reduces some, I think its just a bit to big.

moped replied: WEll I was dreading this but I did ok - 4 pounds down, I did have AF last week so that helps. I have not had a coke in 10 days and tons of water and cut out everything white (which is killing me), but it has paid off, so now i have to change my ticker

ammommy replied: Go Jen! One good thing about cutting out the whites is that when you do eat it, you will feel so bad that you won't want more. I get queasy and crash hard when I slip in some white sugar or flour.

I am so pumped to go away with no baby - sounds bad, but I could really use a break and Tom and I have NEVER gone anywhere far together, so it will do our marriage good too!!!!

3_call_me_mama replied: The week was ok. I didn't gain but i didn't lose either. AF was supposed to arrive on monday and she hasn't yet, so not sure what's up wit that.
No gazelle yet, still waiting for that to arrive. Back is killing me so no pilates, but have been walkign a lot at night so that helps. Also tryign to follow Di's (i believe) advice. The three bite rule. I made homemade mac and cheese and it LOOKED SO GOOD! So i ate 3 bits and then 3 bits meat loaf and a HUGH salad with FF dressing. So i was full and still got ot have teh comfort food !
So still at 229. Hoping to be at 225 next week but i'll take 228 at this point smile.gif

WTG EVERYOONE ELSE!! Mel you look fabulous, WTG JENN on teh 4 lbs. Karen you aer such great motivation, Terri you truly are comitted as you keep plugging away.. everytie i want to give up i think (If terri messes up she just starts fresh!) so that's my thought now...

Well it went down 2 points but that's not too thrilling. rolleyes.gif But I don't think it would have made much of a difference when I weighed myself - I have been so bad. unsure.gif I am at my middle of the month blue period and having a hard time eating well and exercising. sleep.gif

I just want to see the 130s then I'm going to go on "Maintenance." Even though I achieved Lifetime status at the end of December.
