Dh got a bonus like that at the last quarter, and you'll be SHOCKED at what the taxes will whittle it down to. Still, it's great to get that big fat lump sum, and the 7.25% raise will really show up in the paychecks. Enjoy it, couldn't happen to nicer people!

I miss the days when DH would get bonuses. Owning your own business really puts a stop to that stuff. All I got from my work was a ham.
