WALKING!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: Wil is doing so good with his walking!!!! He's still not up 100%, but he's getting better at transferring across the room on his own. I've been trying to walk with him from the car to a store or to a friend's house by just holding his hand and letting him walk. He seems to be enjoying it more, so we're making progress! YAY! He's 17 months today, so I was dreading the next month ped visit if he wasn't up by then.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: WTGrow, Wil. I knew you could do it. Enjoy it Rae, it is so cute when they do that little hands in the air, wobbly walk.
MommyToAshley replied: I was just going to say the same thing. Now I want to go back and watch the video of Ashley when she first started walking.
WTG Wil! He just wanted to do it on his own timetable. Do you have pics?
moped replied: I was just thinking about him and walking last night!!!!

~~*Missi*~~ replied: WTG will! LOL in a month you'll be thinking why did I encourage this when you have him running a mess in the house like a mad man

He's doing SOOOOOOOOO good! I'm so proud of him! We just had playgroup and it was such a relief to see him standing up and waddling with all the other kiddos!
DansMom replied: That's great!
Isn't 17 months totally within the range of normal? It's funny how we worry so much. I've noticed in Daniel's playgroups that the later walkers were intense "watchers"---really studying things and people---a bit more emotionally intelligent, understanding and sympathizing with facial expressions, and not quite so impulsive. Is Wil that way too?
