Verdict

Took them 7-1/2 hours. I'm relieved it's over, and I think Aaron will be too. Right now, I think he's just kind of depressed. He lost and that never feels good. I still think he was the best attorney in the courtroom.
CantWait replied: Sorry to hear of his loss. I'm always at a toss up when it comes to defence attorneys. Glad things will be back to semi normal though.
Calimama replied: Sorry he lost, but hopefully now he can catch a break.
amynicole21 replied: I'm sorry he lost, but I am glad for both of you that it's over.
lovemy2 replied: I am so sorry to hear that - I imagine it will take awhile for him to get over it - but does anyone really WIN in these situations?? I don't think so, it is hard for everyone involved....
Hang in there - maybe like you said this is the one thing you guys needed to bring you back together
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm sorry it went the wrong way for him but he tried and there really wasnt a snowballs chance but I'm glad he gave it all he had
redchief replied: Maybe a couple of days to yourselves?
luvmykids replied: You're right, it never feels good to lose and I'm sure he feels responsible to a degree for this kids future. But from what you said here, I have no doubt he did everything he could to defend this guy and from what I read about the case it would have been tough to win, period.
I hope you guys can catch some R&R now
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm glad he gave it his all.
msoulz replied: I am sorry he feels badly but I hope the jury made the right decision, i.e. the guilty party was found guilty. That's the way it should be in theory.
TANNER'S MOM replied: I am sorry.. I know he worked hard for the cause. Defense attorneys are our a part of our rights. I am glad he takes that seriuosly. I am sorry he didn't get the verdict he wanted. I did read about the story on line and it was very moving and sad for all involved.
I hope he bounces back fast and your life gets back to normal.

MommyToAshley replied: I am glad the trial is over and your family can get back to normal.
Is there a link to the story about the case? I don't even know who/what is involved and I'd like to read about it. Regardless of the verdict, your husband should be proud that he did his job and did it well. He plays a very important role in our judicial system. I would imagine it would be hard to be in a position where sometimes winning isn't the "right" answer. But, from what you have told us, he did a great job of making sure the evidnence on his clients side was heard and that it was a fair trial. In my opinion, that is more important than winning every time. I can see why you are very proud of him.
hoosier momma replied: I'm sorry Aaron didn't get the verdict he was hoping for. Hopefully he can take comfort in knowing that he gave his best effort and worked hard for his client. I hope he is as proud of himself as you are of him.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Dee Dee, you can google Torey Adamcik. Try to avoid the blogs, they are venomous.
Cece00 replied: Wow. Very tragic, I just read some about the case. That poor girl
