Vacuum cleaners - What do you have?

aspenblue1 replied: we have a simplicity! My DH wants to get a dyson (I think that is how you spell it) I love my simpliciity it has great suction and I have had no issues with it. If I remember correctly it is kind of expensive but well worth it IMO.

TeagansMom609 replied: We have a Bissell Cleanview II. Its bagless. I love it! We bought it a couple weeks ago at Target for $80.00 on sale. Its great compared to the Hoover we had. This thing picks up everything, and its so easy to empty. No bags! ( I sound like a Bissell late night infomercial sales rep)

Oh...I also wanted to add, my mom bought a Meile a few years back for over $1,000 and our $80.00 vacuum is better. It just goes to show how bad your getting ripped off when you buy an expensive vacuum.

jem0622 replied: I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Kirby. But I'd strongly consider a Dyson too. The Dyson is cheaper but very efficient.

We have 2 Kenmores. They're OK. I don't know what more I would want them to do, but I really hate to vacuum (don't ask why: it's easy and painless. I just hate doing it.)

A&A'smommy replied: I have a Eureka whirlwind lite and I LOVE it! it uses filters I have had it for a year and I haven't had to clean or change them yet the canster has to be emptied at least once a week or more but other than that its great!!

alice&arik replied: I want a bagless for sure, and I would prefer an upright. I like attachments too. I hate vacuums that can't get by walls and stuff. Thanks for the tips!

paradisemommy replied: we have a kirby and i LOVE it..wouldn't trade it for the world - has all kinds of cool tools with it and the best part was i got it online and paid like less than half what a salesman would have charged us!!

I hate it! Dh and I both despise all bagless vacume cleaners. I'd rather dump a bag than clean out the container of all that dust. It's horrible!

TANNER'S MOM replied: I have an inexpensive Wal-Mart Bagless Bissell, and it is awesome! It picks up great and I have never had any luck with the cheap ones but this is great. And I like that I can change the filters and wash out the cup that holds the dirt..less germies all over.
