Update on chest pain
kit_kats_mom wrote: I went to my general practitioner today. He said he thinks it's my gall bladder. He said that "they often go bad after a woman gives birth". I'd never heard that but whatever...I had an xray done today and and abdominal u/s scheduled for Monday morning. I should know something definitive by then.
MommyToAshley replied: hmmm, I have never heard of that either. I also never would have associated gall bladder problems with chest pains.
I hope it ends up being nothing at all. Please keep us posted.
mom21kid2dogs replied: UGH! How weird! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
mammag replied: That's weird. My sister and mom both had their gall bladders removed and their pain wasn't anything you would call chest pains....
Let us know how the u/s goes. I hope everything checks out fine.
TANNER'S MOM replied: I have heard it, they women who have 3 or more children are more likely to have gall stones or bladder trouble? Why I don't know
~Roo'sMama~ replied: That is weird! Keep us posted!
DansMom replied: That is strange... I hope it's not too serious. Do keep us posted!
A&A'smommy replied: That is wierd!! Keep us posted I hope its not too serious!

sjerul replied: 2 month ago they removed my galbladder and for me the pain during the attacks was actualy like my heart was exploding so it might be ur galbladder... im glad i dont have it anymore.. or atleast not that bad.. and it does happen to woman that had babies more often cause its something to do with the 5 f's or something wich i only had 3 of.... female firtile fat(not saying anyone is fat just explaning the f's) forty and fifty well i only had the first 3.. altho i had no kids.. hope youll feel better soon
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I had to hae my galbladder removed after Matt as born. The first time I had an attack I went in saying it felt like something was stabbing me through the chest and back and squeezing together in the middle. If you end up having it removed it is SOOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!! It hurts pretty bad for about 2 days but you never need to worry about having another attack again. If you have any ?'s feel free to e-mail me.
