Update on Wil's diaper issue

So I said "do you need to go potty?" and he got really excited and ran to the bathroom and lifted the lid of the toilet. So I sat him on there and he sorta wiggled his tush around a bit and concentrated like he was trying to get something out. After about a minute, I said "are you finished" and he said yes, got off and flushed the toilet himself! What a BIG BOY!!! He didn't actually go, but at least he tried!

Again, I don't think he's at the point where he knows the sensation of having to pee, but something is making sense to him as far as going on the pot and what it's for. He either finds it thrilling and new or he just wants to do what mom and dad do.

I just can't believe this could be happening so soon, without a lot of effort on my part! We will see...we will see. Woo hoo!

mom2my2cuties replied: Andy is about in this same stage - She doesn't usually go when on the potty - but she knows how and flushes and all that stuff.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Gotta love this don't you, Rae? Logan has been telling me immediately after he goes (Ah poopoo), but doesn't get the before thing yet. I've managed to catch him in the "I'm gonna go" position and rush him to the pot, but so far he hasn't shown any initiative to go on his own. He loves to sit in the potty, though. I hope Wil does this quickly and easily for you.
