It's weird, DH got notice for jury duty almost exactly a year ago to this date.
redchief replied: Nope not weird... actually kind of normal in my experience. I don't serve jury duty because of my volunteer firefighter status, but I get called almost annually. I also write letters of exemption for the firefighters in my department... I probably do about half the members each year.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I get called for jury duty every so often at home. Of course I can't serve seeing as I am 5000 miles away. I think I even called for it a couple of times in college.
~KARA~ replied: Never been called!! I have no babysitter so I woldnt be able to do it anyways!!
mom21kid2dogs replied: Why do those always come at the busiest times? I got called twice in December! It is handy being an attorney's wife in a small town~highly unlikely I'd ever be chosen!!
Sunflower04 replied: I actually had to serve Grand Juty duty last year and it sucked. 1 day a wks for 18 wks. Some days I actually wish I was in work instead.
mammag replied: It's odd but I've never been called either. I used to want to but there is no way I could do it now with 4 kids, one nursing.
kimberley replied: oh no! that sucks. maybe they will disqualify you because you are too sweet lol. hope work slows down for you soon. we miss you!!!
Boys r us replied: I've NEVER gotten called! I'm jealous...Want me to go and pretend I'm you?
Kaitlin'smom replied: I have been called twice and never had to serve. The last one I was on call every friday for a month, I was not thrilled about that. I never knew until thursday before.
5littleladies replied: I've been called for jury duty once. I didn't mind doing it, but I did try and get out of it due to the fact that I sah with 3 girls and homeschool 2 of them but they didn't let me off.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I always wanted to do jury duty...but never got called dh went in but couldn't get on a jury becuase he works for the police (no one wants him ) but FIL got on one and he is a attorney with a son in law enforcement Anyway I hope things slow down for you so it won;t be so hectic
PascosGirl replied: If you are a SAHM, you can get released for jury duty. Just so you know.
