This is nasty...

mummy2girls wrote: On friday when i was out and about with my parents my mom would say the car is stinky when she would get in. I thought she was high because i couldnt smell anything rolling_smile.gif Then on saturday i could smell it. and it lasted all wekend. i looked under the seats thinking it was an old sippy of milk or something and couldnt find anything! So i just shrugged it off. Then this morning i get into the car and i almost barfed so i got mad because i could not find anything in the front or back seat that could be causing i decided to check the trunk. I took out the stroller and stuff and found stuffed in the back a box of potatoes. I opened it and it was all molded and soft like marshmellows... puke.gif i grabbed th box and chucked them into the garbage bin and then within minutes the car smelled normal again. EWWWWWWWWWWW. Now i need to wash all the jackets and stroller fabric tonight. That was just too gross for my liking! I tried to figure which day i put thoise potatoes in and i even asked my mom because they are the ones that gave me the box of potatoes. And they said october... NICE. thy've been in my trunk for 5 months.... NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A&A'smommy replied: EWWWWWWW that is gross!!!! puke.gif

My2Beauties replied: rolling_smile.gif YUCK that is nasty! I did this before with meat puke.gif I bought some at the grocery and it fell underneath the stroller in the trunk so when I got home I figured the grocery store didn't put them in my cart so I went back to the store and got more meat, about a week later, my car had this awful smell and it didn't get out of my car for like 2-3 weeks after I figured out what it was! can you imagine what the meat looked like when I found it?? puke.gif puke.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: ewww that's nasty! rolling_smile.gif I'm glad your the smell went away fast though! tongue.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: eeewwwwwwww thats discusting. I had this happen with milk but it was ot in a sippy it had gotten ona pice of clothing and it had gotten real ripe it took me forever to find what it was. eeewwww

DVFlyer replied: Reminds me of the poopie diaper in the diaper bag syndrome. You change the diaper but have no where to put it so you stick it in the diaper bag. A couple days later when you go to leave, you grab the bag and zzzzziiiipppp.......... Arghhhhhh!!!! Almost knocked me over.

I bring a ziplock bag now to seal in the, ummmm, freshness. wink.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:

loveydad replied: Done it. Lots of times. YOu ' think I'd be okay I have a van!

but the kids stick hamburgers and crap under the seats when they dont want them and I don't allow milk in sippies in my car anymore.

Heather replied: oh yucky. i did this once with a bowl of fruit..oy it was gross!! Glad you found the culprit I can imagine how crazy you were going trying to find out what it was. YUCK.

Celestrina replied: Yuck! Lately my DH has been giving our son sippy cups with milk when they get in the car. Needless to say they end up under the seat. Fortunately it's cold here so we catch it before it starts to stink. He better break this habit before summer!

kimberley replied: LOL glad i am not the only mommy brain! rolling_smile.gif sorry to laugh at your grossness but i did something just as bad, if not worse! i left a 12 pack of raw chicken legs in my trunk for 3 hot summer days puke.gif! words cannot describe the putrid smell coming from the car and i was like you... couldn't figure out where the heck it was coming from. apparently the chicken fell out of one of the grocery bags and slipped in behind the stroller. blink.gif yuck!

iluvmysweetiepies replied: EEEEWWW! Yucky!
