This is gross but how come I can't barf nicely

I've been sick all week and I guess it was the congestion that made me nauseaus but I went to go throw up and in the process, peed my pants. WTH? And I just kept retching and heaving. At one point I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I was glad I'd managed to lock the door beforehand. If the girls had seen me they would have freaked. I looked like some sort of veiny red alien. Geez

I'm trying to see the humor in this plus I feel so much better now but really...why can't I be a pretty barfer?

PrairieMom replied: There are all sorts of different barfers. my Dh is not a pretty one, but I on the other hand could puke right in front of you and you would barely notice.

I agree, although I can't even see anyone puke because I automatically start gagging. Even one time when Keith puked up a couple crackers it made me puke just seeing it. And I don't know how I look because I can't look in the mirror when I get sick.

Boys r us replied: I'm a HORRIBLE puker!!! I am so loud and it's always so forceful..which makes me break all of the blood vessels in my face and I'll be all spotted for a day or two..terrible I tell you..terrible!!

Glad you're feeling better, btw. I think I'm a pretty efficient barfer- quiet, good aim, what other qualifications are there??? Dh, on the other hand, you can hear him three towns over when he pukes.

I do know my face must get all red because I can feel it going hot, but once I'm all done and go splash my face and rinse my mouth with water, I'm paler than Casper.

I'll have to ask DH if I'm all cute when power barking
