They're Here! - washer and dryer

ammommy wrote: My washer and dryer for the study are here and they look cool! I won't know who the manufacturer is until it's gone to market, but they look so nice. I actually can't wait to do a load of laundry. The best feature right off the bat is that it automatically sets the water level. I know that I always use too much water, but am never sure what is small, medium, or large. They are supposed to be able wash and dry a king size comforter, or 14 pair of jeans. We'll see tonight! Anyone have any laundry to be done? rolling_smile.gif

superlydia replied: ooh, me me! You can do my laundry. I wonder how much it would cost to ship it all laugh.gif . Probably more than that washer and dryer is worth.

Let us know how they work out. Happy laundering biggrin.gif .

Boys r us replied: That sounds really awesome!! I'm confused about the not know who the brand is part..lol..but in any case..Congrats and I'll send my 800 loads right over!

ammommy replied: Nichole, I'm doing a study on the final prototype for some manufacturer or other. This w/d isn't on the market yet and this is the final stage of research/development. They are actually paying me to do laundry thumb.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well, I would love a washer and dryer that can 14 pairs of jeans..14 PAIRS

I can wash like 10..and then I have to run the dryer 10 times to get them dry,,

Cheater..lol.

Boys r us replied: Oh he!! yeah..getting paid to do laundry and you get to use the state of the art washer and dryer...HOW COOL! ughh But knowing me, I probably STILL wouldn't do it! HA

Maddie&EthansMom replied: That is so awesome! You will have to let us know who the manufacturer is. I'm in the market for a new washer and dryer. happy.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: The automatic water level thing sounds awesome! I'm never sure what to set it at either so I end up using too much to be safe. tongue.gif

Have fun! thumb.gif

Boys r us replied: Haa..u know..I'm gladded you cleared that up for me because I was trying to figure out why in the h3*# you were putting a washer and dryer in your study! LOL

Kaitlin'smom replied: laugh.gif Nichole you crack me up!!!

Woo hoo happy laundry days, I think I could put together a few loads..... rolling_smile.gif

ps what do they look like?

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
laugh.gif LOL! Me too!! I thought, "Well, maybe it is upstairs and she needs a washer and dryer upstairs, too." I couldnt' figure it out! laugh.gif

ammommy replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif Yeah, I could see how you could think that. But, if I had a w/d in two spots, you could be da#@ed sure I'd have someone to do the laundry, too laugh.gif

They are white, with computerized buttons (no knobs or dials), rounded corners and the door fronts are smokey glass. They kind of look like the new Kenmore ones that come in colors, but are top loading, not front.

Based on the amount of water this used, I use about twice as much as I need. Now if it dries well, too, I'm in heaven!

Boys r us replied: Hey I have a laundry room upstairs and downstairs..and I don't have anyone to do it for me...but good god, I would LOVE TO!

5littleladies replied: Wow did I mention I'm jealous??? Those sound awesome and yes-I have LOTS of laundry you can do for me. wink.gif

kimberley replied: thumb.gif cool! let us know how they work out!
