These dumb ticker sites

My2Beauties wrote: Darn it, I got Hanna's pic downloaded onto one and I was trying to get a pic of me and DF for our wedding one and then a pic of Desiree for her b'day and the stupid thing just would not let me do it. When trying the one for mine and DF's wedding it just did not show up it kept showing just the ticker, finally I just got frustrated and said forget it and for DSD Desiree's now it's showing a blank white box with an "x" in the corner on the website, now I can't even get to the website! Phooey! I was using jpg images too. I even tried to resize them to as small as they could be! Did anyone else have trouble downloading pics?

My2Beauties replied: OK I am still having trouble today, now when I go into my profile it will show the tickers with the pics but when I get the Code and download it into my siggy it gives some picture of an error message and it does that when I click on Get Code!!!! UGH! Plus it still won't download the pic of Brian and I for my wedding ticker!! POOP! NOw I totally erased Desiree's ticker because it's all messed up!

MomToMany replied: The only thing I can think of is to delete them all and start over. I know it will be a PITA, but it might help fix the problem.

Maybe there was a glitch in their server or something that prevented the pictures from showing up. It's happened to me before, too.

My2Beauties replied: OK now (and I have to start laughing at this) I can make the ticker and when I hit Get Code, it shows that error message ticker again, but when I Log in my tickers all pop up with the pictures and everything!!!! Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow, thank for the help guys!

MomToMany replied: Another thing is to try a different code. Each type of board has different codes to use, so maybe try that before giving up completely.

mama3x replied: I went through the same pains with my tickers. The only thing that worked was deleting them all and not even using the "Edit" option. Plus when I first tried to get my tickers, they were having probs with the server!

But yes, delete and start over, do one by one. Don't make a mistake though because that messes something up.

For your pics, size them to 100x100 (like our avatars). Mine are and it seems to work ok.

Use the first set of codes to put in your sig here. If that doesn't work, I think the second set of codes works too. Cut and paste.

My2Beauties replied: As everyone can tell I got them working, I think they were having problems with their server or something because it worked today just fiine! Yeah! I love these tickers.

ETA: Although the pics of me and DF and then of Desiree and Hanna are so small you can barely see them
