The next time I ....

MommyToAshley wrote: let Ashley nap until 4:30, someone please kick me and remind me why this is not a good idea. She never takes a 3 hour nap and I was enjoying the down time... but boy do I regret it now! wacko.gif wacko.gif wacko.gif

Jamison'smama replied: oh no, that can make for a rough night. I wish for you, a child who sleeps in tomorrow morning!

ian'smommy replied: I guess I don't have to deal with that these days since Ian has decided napping is for babies... rolleyes.gif
I sure know how tempting it can be to let them sleep so you can have some extra time.
I hope she wasn't too difficult to get to bed tonight.

MommyToAshley replied:
Well, appearantly from the giggles coming from her room, she is still not asleep. At least now she is past the "I need a drink", "I want a hug", and "I have to go potty" over and over again stage. rolleyes.gif (knocking on wood)

I hope the sandman comes soon!

mammag replied: Hope you got a good night of sleep.

I had to end Conner's naps early on because he would do the same thing, take a later nap and want to sleep ahile then not go to bed until really late. rolleyes.gif

A&A'smommy replied: LOLOL I know how you feel I HATE it when Alyssa sleeps too long because then our nights are TOO long ugh tongue.gif

TLCDad replied: I think she gets this from me. unsure.gif

MommyToAshley replied:
Yes, I am living with two NIGHT OWLS! laugh.gif

Isabelita replied: My daughter is the same. She sleeps for 2 or 3 hours if I let her, but I try to make it shorter in order to help for bedtime happy.gif

But yes the down time is so tempting huh? lol

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Yep, Maddie is the same way...she is a night owl, too. I try to keep her from napping and most days she doesn't and I really enjoy the days she does b/c I get some things done, but I always regret it at night. dry.gif Oh and yep, she gets it from me. laugh.gif

DansMom replied: No kidding! Daniel had a nap yesterday, which is unusual these days, and it was a late nap---he was still asleep at 6 pm when I went and woke him up. Guess who finally went to bed at 12:30 am? I feel your pain Dee Dee!

3_call_me_mama replied: At least she stayed in her room, Cameron would have been out immediately after i closed the door, or left the room. He would have been pesteringto do whatever i was... so i generally just go to bed and hope he falls asleep next to me. Cause if i stay up, then he tantrums dry.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: she sleep ok?

Kait naps 1-2 hours but is she starts for that 3 hours while nice for us she can be more diffuicult to get to bed

MommyToAshley replied:
She finally went to bed around midnight last night and she slept in until 10:30 this morning. So, we skipped her nap and put her to bed on time tonight.

She told me today that her teeth don't hurt any more, and I asked her if her teeth were hurting and she said, "No they hurt yesterday" So, I looked in her mouth and sure enough she had the last molars come in.... I thought she already had her two year molars and was done for a while until she got her six year molars but I guess I was wrong. dunno.gif

Anyways, I feel bad that she didn't even tell me that her teeth were bothering her. She did seem warm and we took her temp and it was up about a degree, but she gets hot easily and we didn't think much of it. Poor girl, now I feel bad.
