Teacher verbally abuses - Kids

mckayleesmom wrote: Im sorry, but the medication excuse is just that...an excuse. If your medication made you that crabby...then you shouldn't have come to school on meds. Personally I think shes full of poop. I remember having a teacher that use to call us Morons, idiots...you name it. It got to the point where I didn't want to go to school...When my mom and me went to the principle about it...the principle said that sometimes she said those things too.. growl.gif

Suspended for ONE DAY for slapping a 5 year old?!?!?!?!

Ok, medication excuse... this is February... what's her excuse for slapping the boy in DECEMBER??? I would have done EVERYTHING in my power to get that b**ch FIRED.

She's been re-assigned to other teacher duties while the school investigates... GIVE ME A BREAK... she slaps a child in Dec and 2 months later is abusive to a whole class of vulnerable children and they RE-ASSIGN HER???!!!

I'd walk into the school, pack up my children and tell the principal that when he decided to get his thumb out of his @ss and realize that's he's to PROTECT my children, then give me a call. I've pulled one child out of a school for BS, I'll darn sure do it again.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
actually no, I clicked to there from ANthony's link...and even then, it was a sidestory. yours had nothing about it!! lol

no big deal.

grapfruit replied: Did you read any of the comments? OMG bawling.gif Some people had problems just as bad....the poor mom of the special needs boy that broke his foot in PE and the instuctor laughed at him? And then wouldn't comply w/the ortho.'s instruction. mad.gif

What happened to teachers being teachers b/c they cared about kids. sleep.gif

A&A'smommy replied: yeah agree because no matter what your excuse is your breaking a child and thats WRONG. I had a teacher in 1st grade that was SOO mean to me, she ALWAYS picked on me and one of the worse moments i had in her class was when i was coming down with the chicken pox I was afraid to tell her that i didn't feel good well another kid didn't either and he went up and told her, she took his temp and then I went up well she didn't believe me and said that she was going to call my mother if I wasn't telling the truth (which btw she had to call my mom anyway because my temp was 102. something growl.gif ) there is NEVER a good excuse to be mean to a child!!!!!! growl.gif

grapfruit replied:
In second grade my DH to be ( biggrin.gif) broke his collar bone at morning recess (fell of a balance beam). He said it was the worst pain he has ever experienced. She would NOT call his parents, and she made him sit in the back of the room. He said he sobbed all day long b/c it hurt so bad. sad.gif I think it tramatized him laugh.gif God I'd be livid...

sparkys2boys replied:
ohmy.gif ohmy.gif That's terrible

My2Beauties replied: My 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Sidebotham (we called her Sidebottom or Sidebutt laugh.gif ) was so mean to us. If our desks was in the leat bit a teeny unorganized or a pencil was out of place or anything, she would turn our entire desks over and all of it's contents onto the floor and tell us to clean it up right. She made me stand outside one day for something, I have no clue, I was a good kid, very quiet never got in trouble and it was during afternoon announcements, she was going to make me miss my bus on purpose. Another teacher saw me and said oh honey I'll talk with her you go back in so you don't miss your bus...she was so awful. She would call kids stupid all the time. sad.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I had mean teachers, too. I think that was pretty much the norm back then, but things are much different now. I remember getting "licks" for having too many tardies. That is against the law now.

Ethan's teacher last year (in preschool) was heavily medicated and MEAN. I hated that woman. She's not a teacher at his school anymore, but I never could understand why she chose to be a preschool teacher if she hated kids so much. rolleyes.gif

Anthony275 replied: is that the same story? the yahoo one was about a teacher saying the kids were stupid and a girl was suspended

gr33n3y3z replied: So sad and they teach our children..... scary

Mommy2BAK replied: bawling.gif ahh thats terrible! growl.gif

dayna replied:
I heard this one on the radio. I think that was the one the little girl was in pre-K and parents were always getting complaints from the teacher that the little girl was disruptive. So the parents sent a digital recorder in her bag & it captured her saying "stupid kids". It was horrid. Some parents were shocked because she was a popular teacher with 30 years experience. Scary.
