Thats where I walked off. I mean come on can you be any NOSIER?? I should have told her I stole the car and the baby!

One time, I was looking after my friend's 8 month old twin girls. Both wearing bright pink pretty dresses. This man came up to me and asked, "Are they boys or girls?" Then he must have noticed their darker skin and said, "You married a black man? Are those yours?" I answered...
"Yes, they are mine, but they are boys and I am preparing them for an alternative lifestyle as we are moving to San Francisco where the daddy's gay brother lives." and then I walked off as he stood there with his mouth wide open in horror!

Am I rude or what? Hey, I am too old to put up with rude people really. I had been having a bad day and that guy and his remark and the WAY he said what he said, well I couldn't help myself!

Yep, people are NOSY and rude sometimes.

Another time, I was in the supermarket, and my son was whining for cookies that he already knew he could not have due to wheat and gluten allergies. Well, he saw the Oreos and whined. I told him no as he knows he will get sick if he eats them so not to ask. Well, this lady comes up and tells me, "Lady, that is child depravation! Every child should get what they ask for! I should report you for starving that poor child!" I explained to her the situation with regards to my son's health. She then said, "Well, you should leave a child like THAT at home then." I then replied, "Well, you should go mind your own business and worry about your own life as you obviously have some issues. I know a great psychoanalist you may want to visit." She stood there not saying anything further so I quickly walked off before she did.

Yep, people can be rude...and I guess me replying was rude in a way too. I certainly hope the world improves for our children, so they do not have to put up with ignorance and whatnot.

My2Beauties replied: What an inconsiderate dimwitted human being! I don't even talk to people like that. You should see the looks I get when I tell people I'm having my second child. I look young anyways, probably like 18 or 19 (I get carded to buy lottery tickets and stuff). They look at me with disgust when I say it's my second child. I swear they do. I'm like I'm 26 years old, I'll be 17 this year, I feel obligate dto tell them my age because of the way they look at me. Then, my cousin she has 5 bi-racial children, her husband is a black man. When I go out with her and her kids that poor girl gets the most horrid looks. I just wanna smack people sometimes.

Don't worry about what strangers say or do. Who cares?? It's not worth wasting your energy even thinking about it. Just give them something to think about, as per the quote above!
