I just looked up Rick's flight info and he's supposed to be here at 9:30...now it's over an hour and a half LATE!!! I'm going to have to figure something out to do with Braedon..I can't drag him to the airport that late, it will be midnight before Rick gets off the place and we get his bags and out of there!

I guess I'll call my parents and see if he can spend the night with them! Tanner is on spring break and he's already at a friend's house sleeping over.

I'm all nervous now..I'm NOT scared of flying at all, but when I'm home and Rick or my parents or little brother are flying, it freaks me out so bad..I always sit here and like mentally prepare myself for the worst, it's a pretty morbid process!

I have plans for Braedon, my mom said I could drop him off at my parents house AFTER american Idol, LOL! So he's going to be fine..BUT Rick just called, they've delayed his plane for another hour more due to severe lightening and they aren't even letting planes land at O'hare right now..so there are all of these planes up in the air that can't land..and no planes are allowed to take off either, therefore his plane will probably be cancelled and if it's not cancelled, it will be like 3am...

But how long can planes just fly around up there w/o landing in a certain amount of time?

Boys r us replied: LOL I know.... I guess if the lightening doesn't let up, they'll divert them to another airport..so I guess I should just be happy he's not on one of those..
