Halo42101 replied: Looks like you had a lot of fun with your family at the cottage. Tfs such nice pictures of you & your family. I am sorry the ride home was a bit rough.

coasterqueen replied: Looks like you had a great time, except the last few pics. YIKES!

booey2 replied: Thank you all, it was a great 5 days, I have since heard that the area the cottage is in still doesn't have power. I feel pretty bad for the people who were coming in after us. I don't even know if they did come in or just cancelled. Usually when people rent a cottage like that one they are not the types who will carry water in from the lake to flush the toliet or bbq all week. There isn't even a generator to run the fridge, if they had that then we probably would have stayed the rest of the week. The cottage was just like being at home it was so nice. I have already emailed the cottage owner requesting our week for next year. I am just waiting for his response. I got lots of exercise in just walking up and down the stairs in the cottage and walking to and from the water to the cottage and up and down the stairs from the deck at the shore to the water itself. Even thou there wasn't a ton of beach/sand for the kids they made due with what was there and because of the way we got into and out of the water, by going up the stairs to the deck there wasn't a ton of sand in the cottage or our clothes when we got home. I am going back to work tommorow and DH and Matthew are going on a road trip with DH's dad and brother up north to Timmins Ontario to show Matthew where his grandpa was born and where his roots are from. So Thomas and I will be here alone for the rest of the week. Will try to get caught up and post more as the week goes on.

booey2 replied: Thanks it was great, my BIL has since asked me to re-book for next year and ask for some sort of rebate for this year. We lost 2 days that we could have spent having an awesome time. Oh well, we will see what they owner comes up with.
