I was the only one in 4th grade that didn't have a New Kids On The Block lunch box and didn't want one either 17. TRANSFORMERS......need I say more? 18. HEEMAN....need I say more again? 19. OMG, I was absolutely freaking obsessed with Beverly Hills 90210 and Luke Perry, if you ask me there could have been a better show - EVER! He is still sexy to me! And then there was Melrose Place! I watched it from first to last episode, wasn't it on for like 7 or 8 years that 90210 was on ??

All of our Tvs had a dial that you had to turn to channel.
our first VCR was top loading, cost my dad 800 bucks, and the remote had a wire that had to be connected.
I also remember life before microwaves. We had to heat leftovers on the stove or in the oven.

I remember 8-tracks or whatever those things were called. I also remember when cassettes were a wonderful new invention.

I have the Muppet Movie soundtrack on 8 track and what is real funny is I have been playing my new kids on the block tape in the car my son who is two asks me to put on my favorite song ( the right stuff). I saw the Osmonds in concert at Valley Forge Music Fair for my birthday one year. Fragile Rock and all those. Josie and the pUssy cats was great as well as the snorks and You can't do that on television I loved watching them get slimed always was the girl Moose I think they called her and Alanis Moriset or however you spell her name was on that and they ate at that burger place. Kids Inc. my sis and I always sang their songs and did routines to their music. the cartoon Kid Video was another good one. Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

My Dad had an 8-track player and I remember listening to the soundtrack of The Jazz Singer (Neil Diamond) on it.
I remember my parents talking about John Lennon getting shot in 1980.
There is so much more, but most of you have covered it. I am just amused that all of the toys I used to play with as a kid has come back.
