Shopping online - who wants to help with suggestions
beckamouse wrote: my aunt and uncle in tennessee are buying me 300 worth of maternity clothes from anywhere i want. i chose old navy maternity...any outfit suggestions? if you want to suggest anything go to www.oldnavy.com
lets have some fun with it. i need work stuff for my new sit down administrative assistant job (and they don't care how i dress as long as its not jeans but i still want to look pretty)
and i also need an outfit or two for lazy days and a bathingsuit. so please help. i'm not girly....i'm staring at this stuff going...uh....hmm....*shrug*
paradisemommy replied: did you only want to stick with old navy or other ones ok?
beckamouse replied: just old navy...it fits me better.
Jamison'smama replied: I lived in capris during my pregnancy and would again---they are appropriate for most casual offices and are a little cooler--you will be HOT! The cargo capris are cute.
The halter dresses are cute and would be good with a cardigan if it is cool inside.
I would buy several T's can be dressed up for work or down for lazy days---I wore T's more than anything else--they are good for right after the baby is born as well since you will want things that are loose and comfortable for a little while.
kimberley replied: i am not crazy about any of the prints on the swimwear so i would probably go with the black tankini http://www.oldnavy.com/asp/Product.asp?wdi...355&wpid=223829 but i do like the hooded terry jacket http://www.oldnavy.com/asp/Product.asp?wdi...355&wpid=233598 and the matching capris http://www.oldnavy.com/asp/Product.asp?wdi...355&wpid=233628
and you might want to get a few of these in different colors http://www.oldnavy.com/asp/Product.asp?wdi...395&wpid=172679 since it gets really HOT being pg in the summer! you might want to stick with skirts and dresses for work wear for the same reason.
and lastly, don't forget to get some "unmentionables". happy shopping!
A&A'smommy replied: UGH 300 thats awesome! Good luck and have fun I would go nuts so I'm not suggesting anything LOL I LOVE to clothes shop!
beckamouse replied: teehee...thanks for the suggestions. the black tankini was my favorite.... did anyone see the diaper bag? i tacked that on last just for fun and went for a couple threepacks of undies because a pregnagt woman can NEVER have too much spare underwear.
kit_kats_mom replied: FYI. JC Penny online has maternity thongs that are suprisingly comfy. Also, Target has come out with a new maternity line that is supposed to be pretty nice too. I've found that Target and Old Navy are pretty comparable when it comes to price and quality. Target's website has a link to a maternity outfit thing too. Good luck. I'm happy that I'm WAH this time around. No pantyhose, polyester suits etc...just shorts/sweats and tee shirts. BLISS
coasterqueen replied: A maternity thong???? Hmm wonder what that looks like? LOL. I'd love to wear thongs now but my bootang is wayyyyyy to big for them, it would stick out like a sore thumb. And I'm not pg.
I wore khakis and short sleeve shirts during my pg. I was a fat pg woman so I felt uncomfortable in dresses and skirts, lol. I didn't even wear a swimsuit, kinda wish I would have done that.
CantWait replied: $300 WOW, that's amazing. You can get a whole lotta stuff at Old Navy for $300. WOW, you're going to be walking outta there, or they're going to be shipping you a whole lotta boxes. WOW!! I'm beginning to sound like Alyssa's mom, LOL Jess Have fun shopping and spending all that money.
beckamouse replied: okay...i think i'll have to go to the old navy outlet store to get this one pair of pants i saw. the camo-cargo pants.....they're so cute but they dont sell them online anymore *pout* wish me luck...i'm on a mission to find those pants!!
Mom2Boyz replied: WoW!!! $300!!! That's really nice of your aunt and uncle. By the time I started really wearing maternity clothes, it was starting to cool off so I pretty much lived in overalls that I got at Motherhood Maternity. I have like 5 pair in different colors Have fun shopping!!!! I hope you find the pants you're looking for
