She didnt make it
Iluvmyboys wrote: Well Ben got a call last night or this morning about 3 am from one of "Squishys" cousins. She passed away on Friday morning at 2:30 am Im at a loss for words. I really dont know what to say. Even if she wasnt my daughter I still really feel for her and her parents. She was so young and full of energy. I really dont know a whole lot about the situation like how she died exactly. What do people with eating disorders die of?? Im just letting her parents have their space and really trying not to get involved. It seems so weird that shes gone, couldnt they have done something? Ben is not taking this well at all, hes not talking to anyone, not eating and just sleeping in his room all day

Kirstenmumof3 replied: I'm so sorry for your loss! That's just a horrible way to die! My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family!
Danalana replied: I'm sure others answered, but I thought I would answer your question. people with eating disorders often die of heart problems...especially people with anorexia. People with bulimia can also die of heart problems, or even esophageal spasms caused from vomiting. That's what Terri Shiavo (sorry if that's spelled wrong...I can't remember the spelling) died of...well, that's what put her at death's door before she stayed in a vegetative state for all those years. Anorexia is the deadliest of all psychological disorders. I'm so sorry for her family and friends.

Right now I still dont know a whole lot since Bens not answering his cell to anyone. I did a search on google about it myself and like Danalana said it was most likely a heart problem. Its so weird though, after she passed out she woke up again and seemed perfectly okay she was just mad that she had to stay in the hospital

Iluvmyboys replied: Actually Ive found a lot about eating disorders on the net. Never knew Anorexia is the deadliest of all psychological disorders. I now know 2 people whove died from this disease the other is Patricia (Donna27's daughter) I can only imagine what her parents are going through. I dont even know what to say to them. They know she often visted here. Ben isnt doing much better either, hasnt said a word all day, slept most of the day, hasnt even eaten since Thursday night.
Mommy2BAK replied: Oh wow, what terrible news. I am in shock, I was aware that she was in poor health, but not to the point where she could actually pass away. I am so sorry to you and Ben, and also her other friends, and family. Please keep us updated on how Ben is doing.
Donna027 replied: This is exactly what Patricia died of She did seem to be improving but her heart couldnt take any more and just quit on her...
lisar replied: I am so sorry.
Iluvmyboys replied: Well her services are already planned for later this week. I have no idea what to say to the parents. Ive only met them once so I barely know them and I have no idea what they're going through. Even worse that was their only child so I can only imagine now this all feels. Im not even sure Ben is up to going at all. Hes still really grieving not talking much, sleeping tons, not eating at all and this is comming from a kid who could eat the entire fridge empty in a day. Im starting to wonder, is this just "normal" grieving? I understand everyone grieves in their own way but When should I start to become worried?
