REALLY bad day!

A&A'smommy wrote: My parents had to put our dog down today it was really tough all day because the vet was out on a cattle cow and couldn't come into town ammediatly so therefore she suffered all day long. Here is a little background she is and English springer spaniel and those types of dogs get tumors real bad especially in old age. Well Brandi had a tumor on her butt for a long time that the vet was affraid to cut off because of where it was at well last year it rupurted so they had to take it off and after that she was find for almost a year the last couple of months she has been having some problems with her leg spazing and then yesterday she had a seizure but just one and then this morning she started having seizures back to back they called the vet ammediatly but she was out and finally after a LONG battle of seizures all day long we finally got her to the vet and put her down she had a very high fever and my mom knew that she was gone so they put her to sleep I stood there and watched and cried with my mom and dad it was really sad but we all knew that she had a REALLY great life. I'm really sad because we got this dog when i was 6 years old, she slept at the end of my bed, she played with me, she was my best friend when I didn't have any, she was my protector and she comforted me when I was sick. And when I had my baby she took care of her the way she did me! I'm glad she is better now she is really going to be missed!!! I know its hard, I lost a pet too about 4 yrs ago and it still makes me sad!

Mommy2BAK replied: Jessy, I am so sorry I am just now seeing this post. I am SO sorry for your loss, I know that is a very tough thing to go through. If I were there I would give you BIG HUGS. You deserve so many hugs because you are always there for any of us that have a problem and now you do so I wish I could do something to make it better.

DansMom replied: Oh, my heart breaks for you. I know what it's like to put a long-loved pet down due to terminal illness. It's heartbreaking and so, so difficult. That dog seems like a wonderful friend and companion.

I'll bet she lived a great life and was loved very much!!!!...
