Questions about my signature
Nina J wrote: I put one of those link back things in my signature, but I have no idea if you're allowed to do that. I know people put links to there own personal websites, but I don't remember seeing anyone put one for a website not owned by them. So that's my first question for a mod, am I allowed?
My second question for everyone, tell me if it offends you. I don't know if anybody supports PETA or anything, I don't want to offend anyone because you're free to support whatever you like..if you don't like it, I'll remove it.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Personally, I am not offended by the PETA sig. Esp after hearing the news that PETA was suspected of burning down a pet store with living pets inside.
That is very kind of you to be concerned of others feelings with your sig.
MoonMama replied: I could not agree more.
mom2my2cuties replied: So nice of you to be concerned with others - but I wouldn't worry about it - I kind of have a "if you don't like it, don't look" theory. PETA is a little on the side of most of the time.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: War offends me, idiots offend me, my DH offends me at times, yellow cars offend me, Quebeckers offend me... and your sig offends me... but all I have to do is keep scrolling... so I really don't care. But thanks for asking!
amynicole21 replied: I think the point of your siggy is to cause controversy, so yes, I am offended. I appreciate you asking though.
TANNER'S MOM replied: Just cause I am curios Rocky..why Yellow Cars????
lolol
cameragirl21 replied: i'm a PETA member and as everyone here knows by now, i am an ardent animal rights supporter. however i'm also an ardent supporter of free speech so if that's how you feel then so be it. just wondering--why do you think PETA kills animals?
mom2my2cuties replied: I couldn't help but laugh at this one myself.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Cuz they're FUGLY.
Nina J replied: Definatly not to cause controvery, I try to avoid it if I can. However, I see how putting it there and asking about it can seem like I'm trying to start something. Directly calling attention to it wasn't the best thing to do, but at least I know people are offended by it and I can take it out.
Cameragirl21, I will PM you
mom2my2cuties replied: I don't think Nina was trying to draw attention to her signature in an attempt to start trouble - that isn't her style - I think she was asking if anyone was overly offended and giving them the opportunity to speak up now so as not to sit back and stew quietly and for there be hard feelings toward her.
