Please tell me this isn't being advertised - on the Disney Channel

A&A'smommy replied: I don't know I know that at one point they were talking about doing one of their nick news shows about it but that wouldn't be advertised during the day?? I dunno Alyssa doesn't really watch tv during the day very often

Probably use props to cover her belly. That is what most shows do with a pregnancy not written in the script. I would HOPE they wouldn't make her character preggers. That would be totally irresponsible, IMO.

I've never seen this advertised. Tanner doesn't watch Disney much, but the things he watches are generally on earlier before all the teen type stuff is on.

They already recorded the episodes already, before hand. So technically she's not recording anything at the moment. I think she recorded around 2 seasons before she left.

luvmykids replied: I agree with "awareness"...to a point. But when a popular teen star whose fan base is girls who aren't even teens yet, I think it's better to use discretion. We don't have cable but I guarantee my kids wouldn't be watching anything that glamorized teen pregnancy.

I told her that she was no longer aloud to watch it (I never had an issue with the shows content) because Zoey was going in Time Out. She was bad and the baby is in her belly because she kissed a boy for too long. I didn't know what else to say. I'm really not ready to explain the birds and the bees to my 6 yr old but on the other hand I had to address the issue since she asked about Zoey's baby.

I'd much rather have her think babies comes from kissing a boy then the truth. So now she says she "hates" Zoey for having a baby which I explained to her is a bit rough and she shouldn't hate anyone but Zoey did do a bad thing. She accepts that and now loves Miley Cyrus much more.

....for now. Until I have to explain to her that Miley is in Rehab next to Brittany! Just give it time I'm sure.

A&A'smommy replied: I was 17 when I got pregnant with Alyssa and I certainly wont lie to my children about but I REALLY don't want a TV show educating my 4 year old about teen pregnancy.

The Zoey shows were prerecorded and the show is going off the air after this season which is good!!
