This is Katherine giving a treat to one of the therapy dogs. She loves dogs!

kit_kats_mom replied: This is her being shy. The sirens from the fire trucks and police cars were kind of freaking her out

The parade looked like a lot of fun!

jcc64 replied: How do you get her pigtails so even? Doing Corey's hair is like wrestling a greased pig, if I manage to get them in at all, one is usually way lopsided, at which point she inevitably pulls it out. BTW, another thing they have in common- Elmo addiction. Corey is a total freak, will stop dead in her tracks for anything concerning Elmo, even a juice box. I think they're sharing a brain!
K is a total charmer, absolutely precious.

Trust me, our first attempts at pigtails were truely pitiful.
Now I either sit her on my lap in front of a blues clues or elmo video or I let her stand on her stool in front of the mirror. I fill the sink up with water and let her splash it all over the place while I do her hair. I use the TINY little rubber bands too. Thanks for the compliments.
