Our little lady decided to come early!

So I called my dr and he said to come in and they would check me out. We got there about 2 and they said my water had broke and I was dialated to 1. It took about 20 minutes for the guy to get my spinal in, which irritated my dr. When they were all ready my dr jokingly said, well I'm going to go get some breakfast. So I said, ok just bring me back an egg mcmuffin. Once I was numb they had her out in about 5 minutes. Then when he was sewing me up I started to get horrible heartburn and that made me sick. But since I hadn't eaten in so long it was just dry heaves, which sucked and scared me too. Dh watched the whole thing and did an excellent job trying to keep me calm. And ironically she was breech too!

The spinal wore off pretty quick so I was able to move my legs. My morphine drip did something funky monday night. It usually beeped when it was getting low but it started beeping really fast and I started to feel weird, kind of high or something like it was giving me too much too fast. So the nurse fixed it and I asked her how long I had to have that and she said til the middle of tuesday morning but I was freaked out enough so I just asked her if I could stop the morphine and just take the pills they'd been giving me and she said she didn't really want to bc it was still kind of early but I could if I really wanted, so she stopped the morphine. I was up and walking monday afternoon, and took a shower tusday morning.

Summer weighed 6 lbs. 10 oz, and is 19 inches long. She looks so much like Keith when he was born. She's such a good baby, she eats good and sleeps good. Keith wasn't really sure what to think at first but now I think he thinks she's pretty cool. Here's some pics of us.

Glad it all went well - Dylan came before his scheduled C-section which was great - it went fast once I got to the hospital so I didn't have the night before jitters and up all nite
