Oh my Goooooood!!!! - This is amazing!!
Elle wrote: I had an ultrasound done yesterday, and guess what... I'm not only expecting one baby, but TWO! I'm thrilled, I can't believe it! I had my 1st ultrasound done when I was 6 weeks pregnant, and the doc told me she saw only one embryo... But now I had another one done (because the previous one was not very good, the doc couldn't see the embryo very well) and now, at exactly 11 weeks, I found out I'm carrying twins. Unbelievable! This is soooo great! But these will be definitely my last kids... We'll have the "factory" "closed" right after these two are born!
maestra replied: Wow! Congratulations! I always wanted twins!
kimberley replied: awww that is wonderful! i secretly hoped for twins too! congratulations!!
Elle replied: Thanks you guys! Well, I guess I must update my siggy right now The kids don't know about the babies-to-be yet (they didn't even know I was pregnant). Should I tell them now, or should I wait some weeks? 'Cause I'm afraid something could happen to the pregnancy (it's too early, and you never know...) and I don't want them to suffer... So I think I'll wait till the it's more "safe". But oh boy, I'm so happy!!!!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Congrautlations! That is so exciting!
kimberley replied:
i would wait too. i think they say after the first trimester (only a week away for you! ) you are in the "safe" zone. i am sure they will be overjoyed!! let us know when you do. how did DH react?
MommyToAshley replied: WOW!
Congratulations! That's so neat and exciting!
Elle replied: He almost fainted *lol* but can you blame him? After the initial shock he asked the doc if she was sure there were two babies... And when he got convinced that it wasn't April Fool's Day he hugged me and got all excited (we've always wanted 5 kids, and it's really awesome that the last 2 will come together!)
Well, I think I'll wait a couple of weeks to tell the kids about their future siblings I'll let you know what they say
A&A'smommy replied: CONGRATULATIONS!! I just saw your siggy, and I was thinking OMG is she having twins!! So i started looking for your post! That is awesome sweetie! Congratulations!
megsmommie replied: Congratulations!!!!!
5littleladies replied: Congratulations!!! That is awesome!!!
kimberley replied: just curious... do twins run on either side of the family?
CantWait replied: Congratulations, that's truly amazing. I wish both Baby A and Baby B the best of health through the rest of the pregnancy
pinka_star replied: OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!! That is SO awesome! I have also always wanted twins, and it runs in DH's family so next time it might happen! I'm so happy for you though, how exciting!
Elle replied: I have been told twins only run in the women's side of the family... But I'm not sure. In my case there are twins everywhere in the family... My mom's a twin, my cousin had twins last year, and Nat's brother and sister are also twins... So I don't know where is this coming from!
Boys r us replied: HOW UNBELIEVABLY EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so thrilled for you(and a teeny bit jealous, I've always wanted twins!!) I would definitely wait to tell the kids, 9 mnths is an eternity for a little one to wait..so the later they find out the better!! Although with two little ones in there you might not be able to hide it too much longer YAY! YAY! YAY! Twins!!!
aspenblue1 replied: Congratulation! That is so exciting.
Kaitlin'smom replied: WOW CONGRATS!!!!!
are you going to find out what they are?
Elle replied: Oh, sure I am! I admire women who can actually wait till the baby is born... I'm not one of those, I need to find out ASAP!
Kaitlin'smom replied: Me to and with 2 comming I would deffinalty need to know!
booey2 replied: Doubly congratulations to you. I am just getting time now to reply. Get lots of sleep now and line up lots of help for later.

jen replied: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am a TWIN! It was great always having someone my age to play with ! LOL!
I am so happy for you!!!
Julie (jem0622) replied: Congrats! Given the twin history you run a high risk! Wow! Double wow! I had a twin with my eldest DS and it vanished. The fact that you see it at 11 wks is a very good sign!
Take it easy, okay? Lots of protein and other foods and plenty of liquids!
Julie
