Off to the doctor again... - I feel like such a baby!

punkeemunkee'smom wrote: I know I seem like I am being a baby but I took Taylor to PE this morning and was talking to the moms there and started having contractions again....I mean these things make my stomach get HARD!!!! I am so nervous....please pray that my doctor listens to me and doesn't get short with me...he is an incredible doctor but has the personality of Hahn or Yang on Greys most of the time ...not a great bedside manner but I trust him-KWIM? I have talked to a girl I know now and she said this is just pregnancy after a C-section...that she thought she was in labor the entire time! Anybody else feel like that? URGH!!! I feel like such a ninny but I am so flippin worried!!!
I will let ya'll know...TIA! hug.gif

A&A'smommy replied: um no you should NOT be having contractions that early, mine started about 25 weeks or so (I can't remember exactly it might have been before that) and the were TERRIBLE once they started. BTW you are NOT being a baby I think you need to get checked out also! hug.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I haven't had a c-section or a pregnancy after a c-section so I am no help. I hope everything is ok. I think I would go to the doc just for peace of mind too. Let us know what he says.

I'm sure things are fine, but saying a little prayer for you and the baby anyways. hug.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: I can't say that I've had any contractions before about 24-26 weeks, either. I'd certainly make them check into it good.... you're certainly not being a baby!
Hope they figure it out and you feel better!!!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: hug.gif Thanks ya'll! He said he feels like everything is good and it probably is pulling and some extra cramping due to the scar and endomitriosis...baby sounded perfect and I feel much better knowing that all of this is normal! wub.gif baby.gif wub.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: Oh, now from about 3-4 days after I ovulated I have had lots of weird cramping and pains... that's only just recently stopped for the most part, with the exception of rolling over at night or turning around to far when I'm driving.
I'm glad to hear the baby and you are both doing well!!! hug.gif

HuskerMom replied: I'm glad everything's ok!

A&A'smommy replied:
hug.gif hug.gif I'm glad to hear that it wasn't actually contractions!!!

Crystalina replied: I'm glad all is well and you shouldn't feel like your complaining at all. Afterall, this is your baby! wub.gif hug.gif hug.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied:
Oh no they are real wacko.gif laugh.gif but since they are not painful and they will subside when I change what I am doing..ie sit down or change position when I am laying down, they are probably either 1) early BH or 2) fibroid/scar/endomitriosis related. The other crampy pulling feelings I get are def related to those things. Plus he said you just feel more/sense more in 2nd/3rd/etc babies. He wants me to take it easy as much as possible....I am thinking I am going to have to scale back a bit on all of the activities we have goin on! rolleyes.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: Oh yeah, definitely try to take it easy. Also I've noticed that if I'm not getting enough water through the day I'll have more and more intense contractions, too. So make sure you're drinking extra, just in case. I hate water so I just pour a glass out of the tap and drink it quickly between meals 2-3 times a day.

jacobsmama replied: Hey girl...I didn't realize you were going through this again..

I am glad it was all ok..I was thinking did they check you for a bladder infection..Like send your urine to the lab ???

Sometimes if you have a bladder infection it can give you contractions or make you feel like you are having them. I would def get that done.

I hope you are resting this weekend!
