OMG! im ready to run for the hills!

I have all 6 all day and usually i only have 4 in teh morning 6 for the afternoon. Well the 1 year old is teething her molars so she is such a ball of sunshine the 2 2 year olds were fighting and scraping and they always feed on each other with thier misearbleness, and jenna was a monster because she decided to wake up at 530. and the other kids were just being nasty! Ive been doing this for 3 months and i swear this is the worst they have all been! OMG!OMG!OMG!

is it possible to put on a video for them to keep them occupied? i know it's hard with so many kids of different ages to find a video they all want to watch.
you know what i do with kids when they're cranky? i dance with them. seriously, i turn on some music and start shaking my thang and the kids all go along with it. there's something about dancing that gets kids all excited. or maybe tell them a story...?
meanwhile, breathe in, breathe out and think happy thoughts....

cameragirl21 replied: what do you do when you're off, Shelly? i mean what do the people's whose kids you care for do with their kids when you're off?
do you have a backup to send them to or something? or are they responsible on their own to find childcare for the day?

Boo&BugsMom replied: I can't speak for Shelly, but mine are responsible for their own backup plan, but I do give them very ample notice unless it's an emergency.

Sorry your "angels" are so terrible for you today Shelly. I can relate on many days.

well I give them 2-4 weeks notice im taking a personal day and they either find other childcare and if they cant then i get them back up care from the agency

redplaydoh replied: I honestly don't know how you day care providers do it... I go crazy with just my two most of the time. I sending you peaceful moments vibes... just the few I have left, sounds like you could use them more than me.
