OMG - I just discovered
mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: Undereye concealer!!! Okay, don't laugh...I'm 31 and have FINALLY discovered undereye concealer. I bought one at Origins today and OMG...why haven't I used it sooner??? I've never used it, because I'm just not that into makeup, but I have dark circles under my eyes that regular foundation doesn't cover. So I had the lady at the store pick out the right color for me and WAHLA...it works like magic!! Made my green eyes pop and I looked refreshed...with really no other makeup on but a little mascara! LOVE IT!
I bought a face bronzer too, but I'm not sure I'm as happy about it as the concealer! I like that it makes me look a little sunkissed though.
Anyone else use this stuff??
luvbug00 replied: Rae i just discovered it too! a week ago. I have yet to get my own but it's the coolest stuff eh!?
PrairieMom replied: I've just been using regular consealor, but I really could use this stuff. Is it department store brand, or can I get it at Target or Walmart?
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Origins is it's own store. Very natural products. They also sell skin/bath products. Our Foleys sells their products (which is also Robinsons/May in some areas).
PrairieMom replied: huh. Never heard of either of those places.
moped replied: Do you mean the yellow stuff you use before applying makeup???????
PrairieMom replied: Origins has an online store. i will have to check it out when I have more time...
MyLuvBugs replied: You're so cute! I don't know what I would do without concealer. All my little frekles and undereye circles would have scared DH away if I didn't have it. lol I think I've tried every kind out there. Origins and Melaleuca are the two I HIGHLY recommend. They go on smooth, don't clump up, and conceal EVERYTHING!! They're fabulous!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: This is like thick foundation that comes like lipgloss would (with a wand) and it's a beige color. Maybe it comes yellow too. Anyhow, you apply it after you apply moisturizer. At least that's what the lady at the store told me. Make sure you don't get it too light or you'll look like you have white around the eyes. JMO.
Tara, Foley's and Robinsons/May are department stores. Like a Macys or Nordstroms. Origins does have their own area (counter) in those stores, but they also have their own seperate retail store. More expensive than makeup at Walmart, but I didn't think it was over the top. I spent about $16 I think for the concealer, maybe $12.
PrairieMom replied: We don't have those stores either. The closest maceys is in the Twin cities, about 400 miles away! We have a marshalls, Sears, Pennys, and Younkers. We are still have the largest shopping center with in about 200 miles in about any direction! I am thinking about checking out that online store tho. They didn't look like they have many colors to choose from, so I might take a chance and be okay. Thank goodness for online shopping!
coasterqueen replied: I SO need undereye concealer. I know it existed but I'm not a big fan of make-up or a lot of it so I've never used it. I should though because the dark circles are bad with all my allergies.
Anyone know of just a brand you can buy at Target or Walmart that is good and fairly cheap?
My2Beauties replied: Physician's Formula is a good kind too and you can buy it at Target, Walmart etc.. it's yellow undereye concealer and I love it. I use the beige color though physicians formula with the wand and not the lipstick looking kind. I love concealer! Girls best friend
moped replied: Thats the one I use Leanne......mine is called the magic cube - LOL..............can't live without it
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: If I leave the house in a hurry but want to look a bit "put together" I do concealer and bronzer. It evens out my skin tone and I feel like I look a bit younger.
coasterqueen replied: Cool LeaAnn. I'll look for that the next time I go to Target.
luvmykids replied: I've been using concealer since I was in high school Welcome to the club, Rae, glad you found something that makes you feel good!
btw, I love origins!! I love their bath stuff especially and I use their tinted moisturizer.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I've been using it for awhile, too. But, it makes such a HUGE difference when you get a good concealer. I bought some Arbonne concealer. I was shocked at how much it 'concealed'. It is my best friend. I look so much more refreshed when I use it. As a matter of fact, I just wear that and eye makeup in the summer. No foundation needed.
I love Origins. I'll have to try their concealer.
