A&A'smommy wrote: OMG okay we HAVE to move I CAN'T stay here anymore I am SO worried for my baby just a few minutes (probably more like 30 minutes) ago someone just tried to come in our house but luckily all the lights were on and Jeremiah and Derrick were cooking about 4ft from the door (we usually keep all the doors locked) someone just opened the door about halfway and slamed it shut Jeremiah and Derrick took off and ran around the trailor to see who did it and by the time they got around they were already gone so we called the police UGH I HATE this!! I had to go check on Alyssa to make sure there was no one in her room bawling.gif WHY WHY WHY does this crap happen to us we are in a fairly decent neighborhood.... And another thing we DON'T have steps back there but Ashley used that door today and pulled our cooler around to get back in (she is about 5'0) and left it there and there wasn't anything on it no dirt or anything and now there is a dirt on it from where someone else stepped on it.... bawling.gif bawling.gif Please send us some savety vibes we are going to start seriously looking for a house now I can't deal with this crap!

A couple of months ago someone came into the house when my sister and I were in the living room playing with the baby, we were so scared and my sister had to chase him out! I hope you find somewhere safe to move. Sending you lots of safety vibes and hugs xx

Boys r us replied: OMG that's so scary!!
I'm sorry you went through that! (((hugs)))

But I will tell you that it doesn't matter where you live hun..it really doesn't!
When I was pregnant with braedon, I was home alone with Tanner..about 11 o'clock at night, I was laying on the bed beside him getting him to sleep. Then I started hearing some banging..then I heard this HUGE loud noise..I called the police and come to find out it was 2 men breaking into the basement door of our home. We live in a very nice neighborhood..so it can happen anywhere!

That happened to me when DH and I lived down south in a very bad apt. complex. We were sitting in the living room watching tv and all of a sudden someone opened our door and started to walk-in. It turned out they had the wrong apartment. blink.gif Freaked me out though!

I can understand how you feel though.
In my first apartment, someone broke in while I was in the shower. They kicked the door in! ohmy.gif I guess they rang the doorbell to make sure no one was home, but I didn't hear the doorbell in the shower. When I was getting out, I heard a noise, I thought it was someone knocking on the door so I yelled, "Just a minute" That must have scared them off. I called the police and they were picked up trying to break into another apartment complex. I had to go testify and at the trial I learned that they had a gun with them... OMG, I was so freaked and glad that I didn't hear the doorbell. I lived in a nice area of town with one of the lowest crime rates and this still happened to me. I just didn't feel safe in the apartment and soon moved.

My2Beauties replied: OMG how scary is that! I am so sorry that happened!!

One night about 1am or so a really super drunk guy tried to come through our front door using a credit card. My husband was up and heard the door rattling and went to open it and the guy tried to come walking in. (Our wonderful 'guard' dog stayed asleep the whole time huh.gif ) So the guy was so drunk that my husband was able to talk him back outside and I guess someone had already called the police. He tried going to other's houses too. I think he was just so drunk he didnt know where he was.

Stay safe.

Pamela

momof2girls replied: I would have been scared to death!!!
Hopefully it was just a drunk person not sure where he was!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I can't believe how many people this has happened to! It shows me that my fear is valid. I have a HUGE fear of someone breaking in. I NEVER leave my front door open or unlocked. We try to buy the toughest, safest locks. I know they could still break in if they wanted to and that scares me even more since I am here by myself a lot with 2 kids. Our first house we installed an alarm system and I want one in this house, too.

Jessica-I'm so sorry you are freaked out by this. I know I would never sleep again. grouphug.gif Sending you some safety vibes and great house hunting vibes.
