OK... - so I was a day off!
salmndr007 wrote: Well, I was saying that Bella would be born on the 4th of July....ok, so I was a day off. Jess and I went into the hospital last night around 10:00 PM. She was having contractions every 5 minutes steady for about 3 hours. Well, they tried to stop the contractions twice with no avail. Today she is having contractions about 3 minutes appart. The Dr. is supposed to come in to the room here in the next few minutes and decide wether or not she wants to try and stop the contractions again (which I think would be rediculous because the way it is going now, we will be back in the hospital later tonight or tomorrow morning) or to just go ahead and let the baby do her thing. So, I sit here at the computer at work (Jess and her mom are at the hospital and I have some things I need to do before I get out of the Navy which is why I am at work right now) tired from only an hour of sleep, but I know Jess has to be exhausted already because she hasn't eaten anything since about 8:00 PM yesterday and didn't get any sleep last night (boy she is a trooper...I'll tell you what!). I guess we are just waiting to hear what is to happen next. So please keep us in your prayers and I will keep all of you updated as to what I find out.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Keeping all 3 of you in my thoughts and prayers. Please KUP!!!

salmndr007 replied: OK, so I just got the call....it was false labor. So Jess is going back to her mom's house and we are back on strict bed rest, waiting to see some signs of progressing...sorry about the false excitement. We will keep you guys and gals posted as to any further developments.
PrairieMom replied: What an emotional rollercoaster for you guys! Its for the best tho, that baby needs to bake more! hang in there! How far along are you now?
moped replied: I will be thinking of you all - please keep us informed!!!!
gr33n3y3z replied: Oh good the longer Bella stays in there the better Tell Jess to hang in there Bella will be here soon enough
ZandersMama replied: THat can be so trying for both of you I did that a few times before the big event. The good part about it though is that by the time it really happens you will both be really prepared from the practice run.
salmndr007 replied: We are 34 weeks, but Bella is measuring in aroung 35. Jess is such a warrior. She has been going through a lot these last couple of weeks and it amazes me how well she hangs in there and fights through all of the tough times. She is going home with her mom to get something to eat and sleep. I know she has got to be exhausted...
JP&KJMOM replied: Glad she is doing so well with all this. KUP.
coasterqueen replied: Stay in there a bit longer Bella.
WaterMama06 replied: Wish you two the best of luck. Sounds like that little girl really wants to come out to me!! LOL!!!~~~Tell her to get some rest And you too!
MyLuvBugs replied: Oh gosh Sal! You both need some rest today. I'm so glad it was only false labor. She needs to stay in for a couple more weeks at least. You're all in my prayers today. KUP!!
luvmykids replied: KUP! Sorry about your rough night (for both of you) but I hope Bella can get comfy for a few more weeks! Tell Jess to hang in there, the bedrest gets old but even just a little longer will make a big difference for sweet baby girl!
Mommy2Isabella replied: thank you all so much! It was surely not much fun, but like my mom and i talked about, it was a good practice run, right before they discharged me I was having contractions STEADY at 2 mins. apart, the problem was, my cervix wasn't changed from when they checked last night.
Strict bed rest is going to be the pits but, HEY AS LONG AS MY GIRL IS HEALTHY, I would do anything. They tried to stop it for that reason last night, they don't want me going before 35 weeks, which is this time next week.
My back and inner thighs hurt a lot, the doctor said that is just a lot of pressure which probably won't go away. I am still having some contractions, nothing like they were last night and this morning though, so that is a good sign. I am sore from all the contractions, < i tensed up) because I was really scared so today I feel as if I have been hit by a train, and I am sure I am not looking too far from that either.
I got a nice long list of things to keep an eye on, and kick counts are VERY CRUCIAL, I have been trying to do them, I am just so SLEEPY from the activities last night.
Well, sorry it is so long, if you made it this far CONGRATS ... thanks again for all of your prayers and positive thoughts, if you could keep them up WE WOULD GLADLY APPRECIATE IT. And when it is time some ELV would be great ... that post will be here shortly all in DUE time
Thanks Again You guys never fail to amaze me with your kindness
My3LilMonkeys replied: Stay in there, Bella!! Jess, you are doing great - try to stay rested!
