Not a foo-foo girl for sure

coasterqueen wrote: I keep thinking one of my girls is going to be more "foo-foo" girly-like. Megan will probably be more-so than her sister. Why do you ask? biggrin.gif Because this morning as I was getting all three girls (niece stayed the night) ready I asked Kylie to go get her hair brush so we could brush her hair. She replied with "Mom, I'm just going to let my hair be wile-ly today. The Easter Bunny wears his hair like that, so it's ok if I do to. No one will think I look like a monster - they'll know it's just wile-ly today." rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif That kid cracks me up on how she justifies things. emlaugh.gif I've said before that her hair looks wile-ly often and that she's going to scare people like a monster does if she doesn't brush it, hence why she said what she said. happy.gif She has no care in the world as to what she looks like when she leaves the house. rolleyes.gif

amynicole21 replied: LOL! Sophia is just the opposite. She has to have her hair done - I'm sure that's my doing though - it's pretty insane looking if it's not "put away" blink.gif wink.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Oh believe me I try. I'd have her hair all done up every day if she'd let me. Neither one of them will let me touch their hair. rolleyes.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: laugh.gif see now Kaitlin loves girly things but not always having her hair done, some days she will others she wants it wild laugh.gif I try and tame it on those wild morings but some how by the time we get to school it looks like I did not do anythign to it, drives me nuts.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I have one of each also - Brooke is my girly girl who loves to have her hair & nails done and already walks better in high heels and owns more purses than I do rolling_smile.gif . Madison is my tough little monkey who HATES when I touch her hair and tries to eat nail polish if I put it on her.

luvmykids replied: rolling_smile.gif Great critical thinking skills already!

Kylie is as girly as it comes...she hits baseballs in her feathered dress up shoes rolleyes.gif Macie is a cool balance....she's the tomboy with nail polish on laugh.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied: thumb.gif I guess there's something to be said for low maintenence, eh? tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: rolling_smile.gif emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif Thats cracks me up!!! She's so funny, I have a friend who was like that when she was that age and still is do this day and she is 19 years old tongue.gif

Brias3 replied: Oh, funny! How can you argue with such a thorough reasoning?? laugh.gif What a cutie.

Aliyah's a foo-foo girl alright. She always needs her hair "done". I'm sure it was my doing too- she's been wearing a bow or something in her hair since the day she left the hospital laugh.gif

Miranda1127 replied:
great what little "smarties" they can be. rolling_smile.gif i have one i nicknamed her miss tude (if the shoe fits) laugh.gif but i admit i do snicker deep down inside anytime miss tude shows her little head

lisar replied: Lexi like to do her hair sometimes. The thing is, is that she wants to do it I cant. And when she does it OMG it looks so cute but so bad at the same time. But Lexi is my girl who wants to wear a pretty dress and then go outside and ride the 4-wheelers in the mud while wearing the dress. She is mixed.

kit_kats_mom replied: How funny.

Katherine is my girly girl. She loves all things pink and sparkley.

DH and I refer to Lauren as our lesbian in training (not in front of her) because she's so tough. Plus Katherine always makes Lauren be the prince. If she does end up as a lesbian, I'm going to let her know that it's because of her sister! rolling_smile.gif

jcc64 replied: rolling_smile.gif Cary!!!
Corey's pretty girly- has to deliberate ad nauseum about which shoes, which tights, which hair accessory. Totally drives me nuts- I am a ready-in-five-minutes kind of girl, always have been. I also liked my hair "wiley" and I never ever wore shoes . I was head to toe dirt 24/7. Hey, maybe I was my mother's "lesbian in training" ! rolling_smile.gif

DansMom replied: Well, I don't have a girl, but here's my contribution: Daniel insisted on wearing nail polish on his toes a few weeks ago. He will wear necklaces and bracelets with jeans and a dinosaur t-shirt while crashing his monster trucks together. When asked what he wants to do with his life, he'll reply either a ballerina or an astronaut. I'm not sure how this will all turn out laugh.gif

lisar replied:
To cute. I took my best firends son with me lastnight to ballet for Lexi and he was so amazed, he kept telling me that he wants to dance like that. I told him to tell his Dad. I know how his dad is. And he will also play with baby dolls. Which I think is completly normal for a boy to go thru.
