New Years Resolutions...

Donna027 wrote: Has anyone thought of any yet??

I know its still really early but a few people at work were talking about them and I kinda started thinking about it. Heres what mine might be:

- GAIN weight (I need at least 20 lbs)
- Quit smoking
- Take more time off of work and spend more time w/ Lucas

Thats all for now

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Lose 10 pounds. That is a start and if I can do it, I get two free vacation days from work.
Potty train Logan before summer. I will NOT have a 3 year old in diapers.
Spend more time on me. I need to reconnect with myself.

amymom replied:
WOW what an incentive! Is that offered all the time? Like can you keep reearning two free days?

I forgot to add, I haven't even thougth of any. But clutter is continually a problem for me and I never make New Year's resolutions.

sparkys2boys replied: eeekkkk.. did you say gain weight..lol????? *sigh*.. I need to lose some!! Also to try and have more patience with the kids on those days that they test me..lol

MyBrownEyedBoy replied:
Work offers a fitness program. You choose your goals like drop 10 points on your cholesterol or lose 10 pounds. If you meet those goals within the year, you get the 2 vacation days. And you can do it every year. The limit is 2 days per year.

MyLuvBugs replied: 1. To start saving $100-$200 a month towards a house.
2. To cut back on our spending and keep better track of our accounts. blush.gif
3. To start my business successfully and make at least $800/month
4. To LOOSE 50 lbs by July. (that's my goal anyways)
5. To try and meditate and relax more.
6. To try and be a better mom. sleep.gif

DillsMommy replied: To be more genuine.

Donna027 replied:
yeah LOL Im actually underweight! rolling_smile.gif Im 5'8'' 100 lbs

amymom replied:
That is great! I think it is great when employers have concern about health. (I know you work in a Hospital but still...) I also know it has an effect on their bottom line, but it is a win-win situation.

luvmykids replied: I don't really do resolutions, I try to just remind myself that another year is gone and reflect on what I've done to "make it count" and re-establish my goal to make each year meaningful whether it's to be more in the moment with the kids or pay attention to the little things that make life so good.

coasterqueen replied: Well I'm still sick at myself for not succeeding at my resolution for 2006. dry.gif I was supposed to get down to my pre-preg weight and well, I'm about 15 pounds away from it. growl.gif Oh well, I got closer and I worked out a lot this year, more than I have in years.

My resolutions for 2007 are to lose that last 15 pounds AND to work on my anger around my children.

lisar replied: I really need to quit smooking. Thats what I want to do...

mummy2girls replied: mine...

Be happy
