Need help with a decision on a car

I have narrowed it down to

Cadillac SRX-- it has all wheel drive and 6 cylinder no rear entertainment
Dodge Magna-- rear wheel drive but has hemi no rear enterainment
VW Toureg-- awd and has rear enterainment and navigation

I am so undecided all have side curtain airbags any help would be greatlly appreciated.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Cadillac or VW. You know my DH is in the car business. I'm pretty sure he would tell you to go with either of those for performance and longevity! Have fun with your new car! How exciting!

ETA: personally I would go with the VW. I love those cars!!!

kit_kats_mom replied: I love VW's but I"ve heard that they have poor resale & lose their value more quickly than other cars. You may want to check with a friend who's a dealer before you commit to that. I'd want that one if it wasn't an issue though. can't beat the entertainment systems

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I'm not familiar with any of the cars but I wouldn't choose the car based on the entertainment system. YOu can have them installed later for under $1000 or get one of the take them with you kind for like $200

aspenblue1 replied: Thanks for the help. I think we finally decided on the SRX after research on all the cars it seems the best for us. Plus it has the HUGE sunroof on it. I love that but that means we will have to add rear entertainment in the head rests.

mom21kid2dogs replied: Before you sign on the dotted line, take your car seats and install them in the vehicles of choice to be sure they install in the car properly. New car shopping sounds like alot of fun!!!

when you do sign on the line let us know what kind and color

aspenblue1 replied: Thanks for the advice. I checked the car seats and they both fit in the car. The insurance is going to be more than what we are paying now but a lot safer car as far as insurance crash test ratings plus it have the side curtain airbags all the way back. and a 3rd row of seats so the dog will have somewhere to go.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Looks like you already made your decision, but I would have said VW Toureg!! DH and I are on our fourth VW and have been very very happy! You get the quality of a luxury import without the high cost. 4wd is great too...have it in my VW Passatt! LOVE IT!
