My kid, the fish!
mom21kid2dogs wrote: Olivia passed her Level 5 Red Cross swim course. It's as high as she can go until she can start lifesaving courses. Since she just turned 7, that will be quite a while. She's just a doggone fish! They said she can continue taking level 5 to perfect her stroke technique but I'm afraid she'll get a little bored of it. Anyone ever do syncronized swimming? Did your child like it? I hated the monotony of swim team, personally, and she hasn't expressed much interest in competetive swimming so I'm looking for an alternative. Any ideas?

Kaitlin'smom replied: Wow WTG Olivia thats great. Sorry no clue on swimming teems or anythign like that. I never got into that.
booey2 replied: Wow, brings back memories, I too had to stop lessons because I was too young. I took syncro and loved it, my only issue was I had to fight to keep under the water, I am very boyant. I also took diving lessons and loved them too. Congrats to you and Olivia.
mom21kid2dogs replied: Yeah, I was way ahead of my time in swimming, too. Olivia is REALLY boyant, too. I never thought of that being a problem but I see now where it could be. It just looks like it's so much more fun than swimming laps. Plus, the music aspect will appeal to her as well, I'd guess. Thanks for the input, Terri!
Thanks, also for the congrats everyone. She was quite thrilled about it!
