she HATES potatoes. Honestly, I think she may send me to the loony bin with her eating. K ate very little during our vacation. Maybe the equilivent to one full toddler meal per day all day.
moped replied: It is really starting to make me crazy..................HELP
NummyMommy replied: I just cut up whatever we have because she wont eat any "special" foods anymore....if she isnt having what everyone else is having it ends up dumped on the floor The only exception is no chokeable foods, I will give her hot dogs though because they are easy to slice and dice. I havent bought nuts in 6 months
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Mackenzie is the same way she wants what everyone else is eating, but she has NO teeth!! I am just cutting everything up in very small pieces. This weekend I bought some toddler foods:
The ravioli (they don't have sauce)
The turkey and chicken sticks
Diced fruits
and she LOVES cheerios!!!!
I hope this girl gets some teeth soon, so she doesn't have to gum stuff anymore!!
NummyMommy replied: LOL I know how you feel....Faith didn't get teeth until after she was 13 months old then she started getting them 4 at a time. so I am now known as the Queen of Slice and Dice in my house...everything had to be pea sized for her to eat it. I just recently started giving her chunks as she got her molars in....soon I'm hoping to graduate completely to Queen of Fix It and Forget It
boobies4virtue replied: Cheerios Diced green beans lima beans all those gerber fruit puffs, wagon wheels and fruit pieces bananas macaroni noodles diced cooked carrots corn rice diced chicken buttered crusty bread dipped in broth to make it smushy (she loves it!) peas diced tomatos apple cinnamon cheerios cooked potatoes apple jacks
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Wil has just really started on finger foods, but he eats:
cheerios puffed rice cereal (dry) or rice cakes gold fish crackers those star shaped snacks pieces of bread pieces of tortilla banana peaches cheese lots of Yo Baby yogurts mac n cheese ground turkey black beans lentils and brown rice mashed sweet potatos
Yesterday I gave him small pieces of poached salmon and he liked it! I'm also going to try tofu because it's soft. But we're still on #2 and #3 jars and both rice and oatmeal cereals. I buy Earth's Best organic. Their #3s have a good variety. He eats just about anything!!
mom2tripp replied: Thanks
DansMom replied: noodles and tomato/beef sauce green beans broccoli sliced fruits (apples, pears, peaches, melon) banana bagel with margarine and jelly avocado, or tortilla chips and guacamole whole grain bread with margarine ham and turkey slices, rolled up or in a sandwich hot dog in bun mashed or cubed potato with olive oil rice fried with meat and veggies filet mignon (I'm not kidding... ) hamburger with bun carrot sticks cucumber slices asparagus spears oat cereal, with (soy)milk or as a dry snack fruit sorbet or fruit popsicle fish sticks chicken nuggets
not recommended: snow peas, even well cooked. I discovered the hard way that even if you do your best to pull those little stringies off the peas, there's always some left---after a lot of chewing and gagging, we realized that snowpeas are too sophisticated a food for a 2.5 year old.
