Just waiting to see how this night goes

C&K*s Mommie wrote: This will be C's first official night of night potty-training. Almost cannot wait to see tomorrow if she makes it through the night. I am leaving the light on for her, right now she is sleeping in the playroom and I have the light on for her (she will be in our bed before the night is up), then when she comes to our bed I will switch the hall bathroom light on.

I hope this is the first night of many that she has success! happy.gif

holley79 replied: Well I hope that she has a successful night also. If not you are going to have a wet spot next to you. Go C!!!! thumb.gif

kayla's mama replied: Hope she has a good night!!!!

C&K*s Mommie replied: We are not prepared for the wet spot, but more reason to get a new mattress I suppose- that or just clean it, then flip it- clean it then flip it. Till I am blue in the face, and tired of the clean/flip routine. emlaugh.gif

holley79 replied:
That's ok I had one of those mattress protectors from when it was getting close to EDD. I left it on and I am glad that I did. Annika has wet my bed a few times. rolling_smile.gif

Brias3 replied: Good luck!! Hoping for many dry nights for you and her thumb.gif

na81 replied: I hope the night was a dry one for you?! rolling_smile.gif

luvmykids replied: thumb.gif Congrats on the progress, hope it was a dry night!

redchief replied:
That's exactly what I was thinking! Slip them under the sheet and they're not obvious, then if there's an accident you'll only have the sheet to deal with!

C&K*s Mommie replied: Yes it was a success! I was going to post an update in the 1-3yr section later on. But success!! partydance.gif Well it was only the first night of many, but I am happy that at least we accomplished that hurdle. She even noticed this AM. happy.gif

The next prob I will have it getting Chris & my mother to limit her fluid intake the closer to 9 o'clock from now on, until she is better at it. I hope they will understand, I think they will- but some nights they may slip give her liquids late, and not all will be expelled (sorry tmi) in the last time before bedtime.

C&K*s Mommie replied: That is what I will be looking into later today. I have seen them in One Step Ahead, but since they did not apply at the time I passed them by. We also have mattress pads (not the kind made for liquids) that may work in the meantime. We could use them until I can order the other ones.

Thanks Ed and Holley!

amymom replied: Good Job!!!!!!
