mummy2girls wrote: I was eating some mcdonalds fries..yes i know im bad..(ive fallen off the diet wagon so i just think im comfy here..LOL). Anyways...I gave jenna a fry to munch on and as we were sitting here i looked over at jenna and she was gagging and turning blue ohmy.gif She was so trying to get this fry to come up and as i was going to jump in to help her out she got it up herself..i looked at it and it was a big piece....Freaked me out!!!!!!! Thank god she got it up! Can we all give a sigh of relief...Im still shaking!

MommyToAshley replied: Oh My!!! That is sooo scary! I am sooo glad she is ok. Now, take a deep breath and relax. grouphug.gif

That is my biggest fear is that Ashley will get choked on something. I know alot of people give toddlers this age whole fries, and they do fine with them. But I still cut Ashley's up into small pieces because I am soooo paranoid. I will probably be cutting her food into pieces until she is 30. LOL rolling_smile.gif

mummy2girls replied: I am defenitely going to cut up her fries in pieces now!!!!

My2Carebears replied: glad to hear she is ok! Those fries can be scary for littleones!!

CantWait replied: I'm so glad that Jenna is ok. Big hugs to the both of you grouphug.gif grouphug.gif

DansMom replied: Yikes!!! I'm so glad she managed to cough up that french fry. I've never thought Daniel could choke on those because they are so skinny---now I know! I'll break them in pieces from now on.

kimberley replied: OMG! i am glad she is okay! that must have been so scary. hugs to you both! grouphug.gif grouphug.gif

james is 5 and i am still cutting up his blush.gif

alice&arik replied: Did you know you are more likely to choke on a french fry than win the lottery? I know that doesn't help any but oh well.... blink.gif

Glad she is ok!!

A&A'smommy replied: oh gosh poor jenna she has had rough time!!! grouphug.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: grouphug.gif I'm so sorry I missed this post. I'm so glad to hear that she was able to get the fry up on her own. Poor girl and poor mommy too, that must have been awful for you! grouphug.gif

natjasem replied: Yea, I think Emma has a very sensitive gag reflex, so she used to choke too often on even small things. So now I'm totally paranoid, and she doesn't usually get anything unless it's creamy or soft. I'm too scared!
