Jasons eye surgery is scheduled

ediep wrote: well, we went to another doc for a second opinion yesterday and he said the same thing...he reccomended the surgery for the tearing. We both like dthis doc better than the last one we saw, so we scheduled it with him. He had an opening for next friday and I figured it would be better to just get it over with.
he'll have to go under anesthia and won't be able to eat before we go....he'll be so confused as to why he can't have his breakfast. We don't have a time yet, but they told me that they take the youngest patients first.

I am sure it will be harder on you than it will be for him. Wish I could be in the waiting room with you. Hang in there, everything will be ok.

He can't have breakfast because side effects of anesthesia is vomiting. They wouldn't want him to do that during the procedure or afterwards while still out and aspirate it.

I can't believe they waited this long! HUGS to you. My oldest had this procedure at 10 mos. It was such a breeze. The hardest part was him coming out of the anesthesia!
