Jack did the STUPIDEST thing - worse one in his 4 years

He tried to shave his finger..................YES that is correct. Needless to say it was ALOT of blood and thank god my dad was here to deal with him because it was so gross. No hospital visit but it is nasty...........I was mad at myself and at him because I truly thought he knew better, we have had numerous discussions about that sort of thing, I think he knows now.
mckayleesmom replied: I think every child plays with a razer at least once.....Just that one time that we forget. I remember the first time I did it and cut my leg.
Mckaylee shaved her legs a while back and now the hair is really thick and black....I keep telling her that now I'm going to have to wax her...
Try not to be so hard on him...its just his curiosity that got him in trouble and I'm sure his cut finger will be a reminder for future run ins with the razer.
Danalana replied: Yikes! Poor Jack When I was 4 (I guess that's the year for razors!), I took my step-father's razor...I put some toothpaste on my face, and proceeded to shave my face. In the process, I cut the corner of my lip. My mother knew it happened, even though I tried to keep it from her. She made my favorite sandwich to help me learn my lesson--scrambled egg with KETCHUP. Ketchup. On a cut lip. I definitely learned my lesson.
Calimama replied: Ouch, poor kid learned his lesson I bet.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Poor Jack! I hope he heals quickly!!!
gr33n3y3z replied: He will remember that one
mom21kid2dogs replied: Goofy boy!! Did he think he was developing hairy knuckles?
Hope he gets better soon!
grandma replied: Ouch - poor Jack! I'm always scared that something like that will happen at my house so I put everything away before the gkids come over. I truly believe I'm a better gparent than I was a parent.... It wasn't stupid, he's a curious 4 year old. Things like that are bound to happen.
lisar replied: Lexi shaved part of her leg once. She didnt cut herself but I noticed when it grew back black.
BAC'sMom replied: Hope he gets better soon!
lovemy2 replied: Awwww Owwwww - Poor Jack - glad he is OK though and no hospital visit....Olivia did the same thing not too long ago but thankfully didn't draw blood....never assume they "know" better is what I have learned
CantWait replied: Yup, Anthony tried the razor thing last year as well. Curious kids, and curious minds. What will they come up with next??!!
