aspenblue1 replied: Sorry could update a lot yesterday. Here is the story. When I took her in on monday night first they sent me to children urgent care. They tried 3 times to get an IV in her and couldn't so they sent me to childrens hospital. Well 1st try there and they got one in her. She was so week she wouldnt even fight them sticking her. They did blood work and didn't like her levels and she wasn't coming around like they would like on the IV fluids so they admitted her at 2:00 am. The nurses and doctors were wonderful.
They did blood work again on tues night and her levels were getting better they also did a stool sample which showed the rotavirus. She was still not drinking or eating hardly anything. Finally on thurs she started eating and playing and talking to all the nurses and doctors. They still were worried about her not drinking a lot so they took her off the fluids so she would get thirsty she started to drink a little and eat TONS so the let her leave.
She went and saw her ped today who said to just watch her and she wouldn't have normal stool for another 2 weeks!!! EKKK but she is allowed to go outside and play so I think I may take her to the park later since it is such a nice day. Thanks for all the advice monday.

OH I almost forgot. When I talked to one of the peds in her practice. they asked me if she got worse after I say the nurse practicioner and I told him no that I begged her to do something and she wouldn't!!! Well he was not happy about that and said he would talk to her.

Well if you made it through this long thing thanks for listening.
