I ask because I forgot how fun my old job was until I went back this week!! I LOVE IT! The day flies by and I am always laughing! Yes, I am super easy to get along with and love to lauhg but there is one co-worker that has me in stiches all day long! We worked together last time and are friends "sorta" outside of work but he kills me.

Umm, to start with he is a gay male about 45 and sooooo outta the closet it's not funny! (please no debates on how you feel over this) I love him to death and he makes my whole day so fun. We have a blast together and I can't get over how much I missed it all.

A good woman friend will tell you if your mascara's smeared or your lipstick is too dark, but a gay man will go, "Oh, honeeey! You are so NOT an Autumn person! You are definitely a Winter and you've tucked your dress into your pantyhose!" Don't ask why he followed me into the bathroom, I've no idea

I used to have tons of gay friends, not so many anymore

I'm gonna have to start walking through the city looking for some and asking if they'll be my friend

OMG... you soooooo have it right there!! Of course it's much worse with him because we are into design, decorating and paint..lol... you can only imagine huh I crack up just hearing him with customers, and they all LOVE him. We are the number `1 place to come for paint and decorating advice because oh his reputation..lol Women take his word as the holy grail...lol

TrulyBlessed replied: Yes, I used to enjoy my job when I worked. It wasn't so much the people though, I just enjoyed what I was doing. I didn't have problems with my co-workers, I'm just more of a quiet person. It takes me awhile to get out of my shell.

our office is like a sitcom... the young cutie, the older tech nerd, the prozak crazy lady, the grumpy oriental guy, me and the polish boss. it's hilarious some days.

bawoodsmall replied: I do love my job...because of the people. We also have a gay man working here who is a hoot. I flip my boss off all the time(to her face). We have 3 people in the office so we are very tight.

even the receptionist, who's pushing 50, is fabulous...she brings us baked treats all the time.

You're so right about gay men!! They are great friends. I don't have many IRL anymore because I never get out but I have a slew of them online.

Insanemomof3 replied: My last job was great. I miss it so much, the people were awesome. Apparently I brought it out though, when I first started working there I DREADED going in because everyone was quiet, and grumpy. But one day I decided things needed to change so I started clowning around and goofing off (still working of course) and everyone there started laughing and having fun. Then I left. I guess it is back to quiet work

I start my new job on Tuesday, hopefully it will be the same way, if not, I am determined to MAKE it that way.

My Boss and I have a lot of fun but some days its very pushed to the limits for time and makes it stressful but OUR bosses suck for the most part
But I like working with Mark bc for the most part prople leave us alone and we like that.

redchief replied: I like most of the people at my job. Most of my day is spent on the street and alone, but I enjoy the office when I'm in there.

boyohboyohboy replied: I think thats what I miss most about working outside the home, is the people I worked with! I dont so much miss the patients but the other nurses and health care workers! They tend to have a unique sense of humor!
