Implantation bleeding? - getting kind of excited!

I hope this isn't TMI but after I used the restroom (#1..lol) I noticed a tiny amount of blood on the TP. Do you think this could be implantation bleeding? I was using an OPK this month and according to that, I either ovulated on Thursday or Friday. On top of that, my BB's have been having this odd twinges of pain and I have been having very light cramping on and off. What do you guys think? Does this sound like the symptoms of being PG? I am not going to get my hopes up too much, but it does give me more hope.

I bought some HPTs from an internet site and they have a sensitivity of 20 mIU/ml. Would that be considered an early pregnancy test? Is it even possible for it to be positive this early? I have 9 of them, so it wouldn't hurt anything to test in the morning.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I read that 20mIU is about as close that it can come to accuracy, but to be on the safer side I would say a visit to your doc is in order.

I was thinking also about early PG tests, of the EPT (or another brand name company that has a commercial out) and their early PG tests, that can tell if you are PG as soon as 5 days following your missed AF. That is what I was thinking.

There may be centers in your area that you can take PG tests at. Women centers, your local health department. I would still get an appt with your doc to be more accurate.

I doubt it, AF shouldn't be here for a little over a week and it was only a couple of drops. There hasn't been anymore since then.

maestra replied: I have read before (and have had experience myself) that the kind of tests you have CAN (but not always) show a positive at 10 days after ovulation (abbrev- 10dpo). It actually happened to me- I tested at 9 days (this is with my youngest) with a neg, then at 10 days, with a positive. It just depends on the concentration of hormone in your body. I hope that helps- but the closer to af you wait, the better chance of getting the correct result depending if you are or are not pg.

I will definitely keep you posted! I will just wait until Monday morning which should be 11 DPO and take an HPT... just to see. If that comes out negative then I guess I will just have to be patient and wait the rest of the week. LOL.
