I'm staying home today - What are YOU up too?

kit kats mom replied: We just got back from the park where we played with the ball, ran, went down the slide and went up and down the steps about a million times.

Now she's eating lunch and hopefully she will go down for a nap soon after.

This afternoon we will have music/dance time and I think we may fingerpaint out on the deck. When DH gets home, he will take her to the park again for another run.

Elle replied: As soon as I leave the computer (I'll need surgery to be removed from here!) I'll clean up a bit, go grocery shopping, make lunch for me and Brighton... And just do some laundry and maybe something else till the kids who I help with their homework come over, that's about 4:00 pm. Alexis is at school, so is Juliet, Nathan's at work... So it's just me and my boy! He's right next to me doing some drawings to stick to his bedroom walls later.

Edited to add: We might go visit my sister later, but I don't know if I'm in the mood...

kit kats mom replied: Forgot to say that we got our tax return on Saturday so Katherine and I hit Old Navy this morning before the park and we each got some new outfits.

megsmommie replied: Well, hmm... good question. It's only 9:20 here in California, so nothing is really open yet, well most of the stores are but nothing interesting. Took the kids to school about an hour ago. Faxed in a few resumes because I need new job. And now I am sitting here on line waiting for dh to come on at his work. He's a chiropractor who owns his own practice, so we can talk all day- or at least when there are no patients around. Lol.
But, I am soooooo bored.

A&A'smommy replied: well lets see, I need to yell at dh, clean my room, give alyssa a bath, get a shower, take dh to work, find someone to watch alyssa so I can go to a mary-kay meeting (PLEASE MOM I dont want my mil to watch her ) clean the kitched and I could go on and on. Oh and not all in that order lol

MommyToAshley replied: I worked most of the morning -- last night I worked until 3 am on a hot project that was due today. UGGGHH Then, this morning I had to review with the client and make a few modifications.

This afternoon, I have been playing with Ashley even though I have tons of work to do. We went outside for a few minutes with her bubble blowing lawnmower, but it was just too cold and windy. (It looks pretty out, bright sun, but it's still cold). So, we came inside and played with her Little People Doll house. Then, we played Hide 'N Seek. Now, she is playing by herself, and I am typing on here when I should be working. But, I need just a little break from work!

I am not going anywhere either. I need to go to the grocery, but I will just have to find something to make for dinner out of what we have in the house.

A&A'smommy replied: well I decided to just stay home and finish cleaning up the house and it hasnt been easy Alyssa has been SOOO fussy today (i could painlessly pull my hair out and I would feel sooo much better LOL). She is FINALLY sleeping THANK GOD! At least dh did most of the cleaning this morning before he went to work WHAT A SWEETIE, lol he said he was bored.
