ITS FINALLY STOPPED!! - andrew

boyohboyohboy wrote: Andrew woke up crying this morning but wanted to cuddle..
so we sat thru the morning bottle of yogurt and then he got down and played, and was happy, and has smiled, and seems like his old self.
He also ate some of Jakes toast this morning which he stole from the table!

I think we are on to something...

I hope this mornings nap and crying doesnt start it all up again..

I really am getting there!!!!! rolling_smile.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: That's awesome Stacy!!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!

Now honestly....didn't it happen faster than you thought?

PrairieMom replied: thumb.gif WTG!

boyohboyohboy replied:
YES! I mean its really only day 5 now, and we back slid there one night..
so yes, its amazing how much happier he was today, and he was his sly self..

I slept all night for the first time in THREE years..serioiusly..I never let Jake cry, and andrew was on the same path but apparently not as good at sleep deprevation as the rest of us!

I am still neurotic about it, I sleep on the couch right now, on the wall that seperates us..and still have the monitor on full blast near my head! but on sat. we are moving andrew to his own room, and we are taking back our room!

do you think I should expect the room change to make a difference?
i mean its still his crib...but we think he sleeps well enough to go up stairs with the other kids!

we bought champaign to celebrate with this weekend! I havent seen dh for ever!

and I woke up knowing my own name! rolling_smile.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: Stacy that made me smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you having a full night of sleep. And wow, DH might get lucky this weekend!! I think you're doing great. I would think that moving him MIGHT throw him off but I'd do it anyway, and not change anything else! Move him early in the morning and let him spend a lot of time during the day in there and make a BIG deal about it to him.

I wish I had more advice for you about his naps....just stay consistent! He'll get there.

moped replied: I couldn't be happier!

A&A'smommy replied: YAY STACY!!!!! Thats WONDERFUL news!!!! I hope he keeps it up for you!!!

CantWait replied: That's GREAT news Stacy!!!!!!!! WTG!!!!!!! thumb.gif thumb.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: YAY!!!! thumb.gif

WTG!! I hope for your sake you are done!!

We went through something similar with Isaia, he wouldn't sleep through the night and kept waking up wanting to nurse or a bottle. I was tired he was tired... miserable, so we did something similar to what you are doing!!

lisar replied: That is such great news. I am happy for you!!!!

lovemy2 replied: WTG girl - see we told you you were a good momma wub.gif wub.gif

The room change might put a hiccup in it but don't let it move you backwards - maybe spend some time in his room with him before bedtime, etc. so he is used to it -

Calimama replied: I'm sooooo excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif
