mummy2girls wrote: I was taking out the garbage and i was anmnoyed because right beside the garbage parked illegally was a car. So i had to manuver myself around this car to get to the garbage bin as i was holding 3 big green bags in my hand...and i slipped on some ice and fell. My feet flew up in the ari and i landed on my tailbone and my garbage went everywhere!!!!! the bags not the garbage. smile.gif i am now barley able to walk or sit down on my bumb. OUCH!!!! I think i really did something to myself...

MommyToAshley replied: OUCH!!!! I know falling on your tailbone can really hurt! I was at DH's house (before we got married) and I had gone to the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom and walked around the corner, DH scared me. I fell right on my tailbone... OUCH! (Can you believe I still married him, LOL!) I know that can be a painful experience...even worse out on the ice.

I hope you are feeling better soon! grouphug.gif

A&A'smommy replied: omg ouch you might have then again i wouldnt know i have to have a really tough bottom im VERY clumsy and tend to slide down the stairs a lot (not when im holding lyssa thank god). But anyways i hope it really isnt anything serious im feeling it for you. You will probably just be bruised but if you feel you might have really hurt something you should go to the doctor!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: ohmy.gif OH NO, OUCH! I hope you are okay! I did that when I was pregnant with my second baby. I was going down a flight of icy stairs (stupid landlord hadn't salted them) and I slipped, feel and hit my tailbone! When I saw the doctor he told me I had just bruised it! I found sitting on a cold ice pack really helped! I hope you feel better soon! grouphug.gif

Insanemomof3 replied: OUCH!!! Sounds painful. I have done that many times and it does hurt! Hope it feels better though. smile.gif

aspenblue1 replied: Ouch... I know that really hurts. I hope you feel better soon.

kimberley replied: OUCH! put some ice on that. is it still hurting today? hope it gets better soon.

jen replied: OUCHY! I'm sorry! You may have chipped your tail bone. I did that when I was younger when I fell out of a tree! LOL! and I had to sit on one of those little inner tubes people use for hemmoroids haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! laugh.gif I hope you didn't hurt yourself too badly and you feel better today!

mummy2girls replied: well i defenitly did something more than bruised it. I woke up and i could hardely get out of bed, i cant walk without wincing in pain, and it took me 5 minutes to just get out of my car. it hurts when i sit and changing jennas diaper is a struggle because no postion is comfy. and she doesnt have her change table anymore. im regretting giving it to my brother foir his new bundle of joy he is having in march. UGH!

jen replied: If you chipped it, it feels like a sharp pain when you sit down...it really hurts. But it really hurts if you bruised the bone too. If you go to the doctor they can't do anything for a tailbone but give you an anit-inflamatory and maybe some pain pills. I wish that pain on no one! I am sorry that happened. I would go to the doctor in a couple of days if you don't feel noticeably better.

coasterqueen replied: Oh no! I am soooo sorry! grouphug.gif I would say you bruised it because that hurts real bad, but if you think you hurt it worse than that you might go see your doc. Hope it gets better real soon!!!

Guest_jem0622 replied: I am only guessing, but you probably bruised your tailbone. And I feel for you. I had an evil rollerblading accident 7 yrs ago and really bruised mine. Then I reinjured it giving birth to Nathan (1/00). I thought I was gonna die all over again.

HUGS. Sit on a pillow or one of those inflatable rings. You'll look like a fool, but it will ease the pain. Not much they can do.
