I need suggestions

moped wrote: We are going on a houseboat in a couple of weeks - not really looking forward to a week on a boat with Jack being the sleep nazi, but I will do the best I can. There will be another 3 year old boy named Oliver - too cute! Anyways, I want to get them a toy or toys that I can pull out at the right time when they need entertainment - ya know something that will occupy them for more than 5 minutes.

Any thoughts???

Our Lil' Family replied: Thomas is obsessed with Lego's right now...maybe that? He plays with them for hours at a time!

lovemy2 replied: A portable DVD player? Coloring Books? Games? Playdoh?

Goodness a houseboat with TWO 3 year olds - boys no less - good luck with that...can't say I would consider that a vacation - I hope the HOUSE part of the boat is BIG emlaugh.gif

ZandersMama replied: Whenever i'm going with Zander, I get a big bag of dollar store stuff, to haul out when he needs distracting. I like the lego idea too, i love them tongue.gif

momofone replied: Maybe one of those pretend fishing poles for kids. That might be fun. Have fun!

moped replied: Lego wouldn't be a treat to Jack because he plays with it all the time - same with playdoh..........

maybe a trip to the dollar store would be in order

gr33n3y3z replied: coloring books,cars,leggos,tinker toys

gr33n3y3z replied:
something tells me this is not a small house boat wink.gif its more like a yacht

lovemy2 replied:
Oh well then in that case leave them with the butler!!!! Ha Ha - a yacht well that sounds like a vacation tongue.gif

moped replied:
LOL - something like that.......no it is not small at all!

I will show you a pic

gr33n3y3z replied:
