I have fallen in love! - with a house....

A&A'smommy wrote: OMG this house is incredible!! Its two story, but the weird thing is you have to go outside and go back into another part of the house to go upstairs it was actually made for someone to live upstairs but we will knock down the wall and put doors so we don't have to do that. CRAP we may not even get it but it is so beautiful it has seven bedrooms (we wouldn't use them all as bedrooms) it was built in the 1880's it has a huge yard which is something compared to what we have had since we got married. We are making a offer on it and since it needs SOOO much work we will NOT offer more than 70,000 for it... I got my hopes up and its going to suck if we don't get it..... sad.gif

mummy2girls replied: WOW! Is your family or his helping you to get it? or you able to do it all on your own. I will pray you get it... CONGRATS if you do dear! I would give anything to be able to buya house happy.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
Actually no it will be our house BUT Derrick and Ashley will be paying rent to us to live there so that will help with ALL our bills. His parents will help us fix it up probably since they have done this very thing TWICE lol

kimberley replied: wow! sounds nice and how exciting! hope you get it. keep us updated! thumb.gif

momof2girls replied: I will cross my fingers for you! thumb.gif

Boys r us replied: Sounds like a GREAT place!!! How long has it been on the market? People are usually willing to take a little less than they had originally hoped to get for it!!

Good luck and let us know!

aspenblue1 replied: Good luck! I love old houses the house we live in was built in 1900.

Kaitlin'smom replied: sounds interesting, with having to outside and back in rolling_smile.gif I would deffinalty knock down that wall laugh.gif any way sounds like it would be neat, good luck, and check on insurance in your area for the house some Companies wont insure a house that was originally desigend for more than one family.

coasterqueen replied: WOW! Didn't know you were looking, lol. Good luck and keeping my fingers crossed for you. I want to see pics when you get it wink.gif.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOVVEEEEE old homes. I always wanted to find one for sale and have it moved and put on our land, but DH wouldn't have it. I just thrive off of all the possible history in those places. smile.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
it has been on the market for three years now and has only had 3 offers so we are really hoping they will take less this time!

A&A'smommy replied:
Yes we are DEFINITLY going to do that once we get a few other things in order, we have already talked to Jeremiahs parents about what insurance to look into (they have already shopped around more than once). It wasn't originally built that way that wall was put up so that the person who lived there could rent out the upstairs you can actually tell where the wall was put up among others.

A&A'smommy replied:
OH MY me too! I LOVE history and always have I keep wondering if we might have a ghost because some old house (new too but old ones are more fun) have ghosts. Here is a bit of history, when this town was originally started it was called the vine and olive colonly because we had so many Vine (grapes) and olive trees. Well this house has TWO olive trees (and another fruit tree lol) but the myth is that when the settlers went through here that they planted those trees. They make olives every year so that would be VERY interesting! laugh.gif

We actually JUST started looking like REALLY looking yesterday lol

pinka_star replied: Oh man, I hope you get it!!!! I'll be crossing my fingers for you.

coasterqueen replied:
How NEAT! I've never seen an olive tree. I didn't even know olives grew on trees. blush.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I hope you get it! I have my fingers crossed for you.

~~~~GOOD LUCK VIBES!~~~~~
