I can't believe I did that!
MomToMany wrote: Last night, we were going to go shopping for whatever we needed for the fish aquarium. We drive for an hour, and get to Wal-Mart, get all the kids out of the van, and I can't find my purse. I *thought* I brought it with, but its wasn't in the diaper bag (where I keep it).
IT'S NOT THERE! I left it at HOME! We drove all that way for nothing . Sure enough, we get back home, and its sitting on top of the entertainment center right by the door. I was crying on the way home, mostly because it was a wasted trip, a waste of gas, etc.. DH wasn't upset though; he said I didn't do it on purpose, and it was "quality time" together, LOL.
I put it back in the diaper bag when we got home, so it won't happen again.
ediep replied: well, thats frustrating...
sorry.
My dh went to the food store last weekend to pick up some lunch items becasue his dad and step mom were on their way over. He calls me from the store and says."is my wallet on the counter in the kitchen?" I go look and say"yup", oh well, he had enough cash for 1/2 pound of turkey and 1 package of rolls. What a lunch to serve guests
mom89 replied: OOps! I've done that,so don't worry Back when we still had the mazda truck, that was in the garage and the van was in the driveway. Well, this was also back when my now *almost* 2yo was a nb...I would put him in the van first, then run back in the garage and get my purse. Well, quite a few times I accidently left it in the garage. oops! I stopped doing that tho:) Now we've since gotten rid of the truck and the van is now in the garage. So no more leaving Miss Purse behind
kimberley replied: awww sorry that happened. but great of DH to find the bright side DH did the same thing last night. went to the store about 15 min away and realized he didn't bring his debit card once he was there
5littleladies replied: Well that's not fun. I guess that's one good thing about being in town, although I would gladly trade it in order to live in the country.
I once went grocery shopping and had all my groceries checked through when I realized that I had left the checkbook at home. I was so embarassed!! Luckily I only live about 5 minutes from the store so I just bagged everything up and they put my purchase on hold until I got back.
That was cute that your dh called it "quality time". What a nice guy.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I've done that before (along with the crying all the way home). You sound just like me...waste of time, waste of gas....not to mention I feel like an idiot b/c my head is never screwed on straight these days. Scotty always gets so mad at me for crying over silly stuff like that. How sweet of your DH to call it quality time.
Josie83 replied: O no! I'm sorry you were so upset. Everyone makes mistakes tho! xx
A&A'smommy replied: awwww you cried I probably would have done the same thing... it has been so much worse since I got pg with Alyssa
MomToMany replied: You guys always make me feel better! I was so mad at myself, that's why I was crying. But DH always makes me feel better .
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Don't be so hard on yourself! I've left the house with the oven still on and had to transfer busses and head back home! Glad you found it!
Mommy2BAK replied: You poor thing!!! DOn't feel bad though, I hav done it MANY times before. Your DH is SOOOO sweet!!!
loveydad replied: It's alright once i forgot the DIAPER BAG when we were going to Boise. Oh crap! I had to go to the store and BUY another outfit and diapers and wipes and formula- this was when Tracy was really tiny. She had a really bad diaper rash then too and I ended up buying more medicine for that... UGH I felt really stupid.
momof2girls replied: I have taken the baby off and forgot the diaper bag, I have also forgot my wallet and get somewhere with a sopping cart full and then cant find it...
Im not a hour away from walmart though.... I would be in walmart withdraw! lol
I think we have all done things like this...
oh and Ive also driven off with my purse on the top of my car and lost it... uh DUH.
