I am so READY to have this BABY

jen wrote: I just want to go into LABOR NOW! i have a feeling I am going to go way past my due date.........I don't know why. I guess with my doctor telling me my original due date was April 22 the changing it to April 13 at my 20 week u/s I just feel like no one knows! ha ha! Maybe I will go to April 30th ohmy.gif

I am so ready. I am starting to get so uncomfortable. I want to walk and get outside but the more active I am the worse my Braxton Hicks are! OH well we feel like walking a lot is speeding things up! What do you think?? smile.gif

ediep replied: I walked every day those last few weeks. Maybe it helped, Jason was born 5 days before my EDD.

I know how you feel....those last 2 weeks are the hardest!! Just try to take it easy and Maddie will be here before you know it!!

chloe&tysmommy replied: I just noticed on your ticker that you only have a week left---wow you are sooooo close!!! YAY!!! How exciting!!! partying.gif

When I was pregnant with Chloe I had a feeling I would be over-due but I wasn't. My doc told me I was due Sept.5 and at my 20 week u/s they said Aug.29th and they were right! I went into labor on the 29th and well, didn't actually have her until the 1st ..LOL rolleyes.gif

I am sure you'll have Maddy sooner than later smile.gif YAY!!!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh yes you must walk. If that is causing Braxton Hicks then that is great. I walked all over the place when I was 9 months. It helped my water break 4 days before my EDD. I even had to waddle up some stairs. I know how you feel, but I think I was at my most uncomfortable right before Jade was born. So hopefully you will go soon.

amynicole21 replied: I don't blame you for being ready! Like Edie said, those last 2 weeks are HORRIBLE dry.gif Sending you *~*~*~ GO INTO LABOR VIBES *~*~*~*~ tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: OHHH I so know how you feel! I walked when at the end of my pg because nothing was happening, and bam finally something started to happen, I have read that walking gets labor started is an old wives tale and that is just helps make labor easier, I don't think that is true though it helped me.

Elle replied: Oh, I remember how uncomfortable I was the last weeks of my pregnancies... bawling.gif
My first was born like 2 weeks before my due date, I'm really thankful to her for that *lol* rolling_smile.gif
And then my second was over a week late! ohmy.gif Woo-hoo. wacko.gif
And my third was a little early too, but I was already getting so uncomfortable... I couldn't sleep well or anything... So I put into practice some tips, for example walk a lot (and some others that were mentioned in a Friends episode *lol*) and Brighton came 4 days before the due date. thumb.gif
So I'd recommend you to take some walks... That may help Maddy to get out sooner! rolling_smile.gif

juliajaj replied: I was exactly 2 weeks past due with Olivia. I wasn't too uncomfortable, and walking made me feel better. I think I tried every old wives tale possible to jump-start labor. After I was 2 days past my due date, I accepted that fact that the baby was going to come when he/she was ready & not when I wanted him/her to appear. The nurse in the hospital said the baby definitely must be a girl since she's spending 2 weeks primping for her arrival into the world. My OB/GYN told me that I might go late with baby #2. I'll have everything ready a week or 2 before my due date, but I'm going to try to relax and not worry about it if I'm late.

mummy2girls replied: (((HUGS))))

i remember that feeling oh so well. I took my nephew trick or treating the night before i was induced. Jenna kicked so much! It was just unreal. and the contractions i had...LOL.

kit_kats_mom replied: Man, I remember those last days. Blech!

You may be suprised. I thought I was going to go over my due date but I ended up waking up to my water breaking at 4 am two days before my due date...I had no signs except for the CM.

Walk a lot!! thumb.gif

CantWait replied: I'd say walking is helping things along....you might be having more braxten hicks and they might be helping you to dialate. I hope you're feeling better soon. grouphug.gif Hugs to you, it really isn't going to be much longer.

momma2jenna replied: Hey Jen! I know how ready you are! Sorry that you're getting uncomfortable. Unfortunately I was induced at 38 weeks, so I didn't have the thrill of goig into labor on my own.. Yes, I'd say walk if your tired, swollen feet can take it tongue.gif
Mine were so swollen, when I walked barefoot, I could feel the fluid sloshing around! EEEkkk, it was a gross feeling! Have that Maddy girl soon! wub.gif

coasterqueen replied: Okay, take it from someone who didn't do ANYTHING the last few weeks but sit her butt on the couch.....GET OUT, WALK, HAVE RELATIONS, DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

jen replied:
What is CM? I NEED TO KNOW LOL! laugh.gif

jen replied:
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Have relations???? blink.gif WHAT IS THAT! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Jen, let me say that we are sooo ready for you to have this baby too! It's about this time I get antsy waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I think it is worse than when I was PG (Ok maybe not worse, but I still can't stand the wait) Do you have a call buddy?

I am soo excited for you and your family ... Maddie will be here soon. I am sending lots of Easy Labor Vibes just in case all that walking does do something.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Well I was early my EDD was jan 15th and I had Kaitlin Dec 28th, but I think they were way off anyway, the first place I went said I would be due Jan 5th, made more sence to me, anyway we went to the mall the night before I sarted in labor DH pushed me around in a wheel chair....I could not walk far and we wanted to get out, I was soooo swollen and miserable, So i dunno if it was the little walking I did do or being push around that did it but I was happy I went early! I am so ready to met Maddie, I hope you go soon. So I send tones of ~~~ELV~~~~

kit_kats_mom replied:
Actually, I must have been tired when I wrote that. I meant my mucus plug (I hate that name, it just sounds so gross puke.gif ). Anyway, I dind't know what it was because it wasn't at all like I expected it to be, or like the books say it is. But in hindsight, I lost a little bit of it on Saturday, shopped the labor day sales on Sunday and then my water broke in the early morning hours of Monday. I wasn't actually due until that Wednesday. No Braxton Hicks, nothing, nada. I was sure I would go way past my due date.

paradisemommy replied: ita with everyone..get out and exercise...walk walk walk and talk sexy to your dh so he'll bd with you *wink wink...hubba hubba* emlaugh.gif baby.gif

jem0622 replied: We are all thinking of you and wishing you ELV when the time comes. You could have her right on your due date or go over. My kids were all on time. My younger brother was supposed to show up on Dec 18 and didn't show until Jan 8. Can we say late?

I remember those last days...almost begging to be induced. Especially w/ Gabe b/c I had contrax for a month before he showed up and it was so tiring!

jcc64 replied: As others have said, time to light the candles and hit the sack with dh. We went 3 for 3 with that method. I know it's the last thing you want to think about, but trust me, it works (there is actually a scientific reason for it).

jen replied: Thanks! We are going to BD tonight if it kills me! rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif or him! tongue.gif

I have been losing a little of my plug! puke.gif puke.gif puke.gif So that is a positive sign!

I bought feed last night, fed my animals, took a very long walk, played with my goats and then planted flowers until it got dark! Man did I have CONTRACTIONS! but they faded and I fell asleep! ha ha!

Thanks for all the ELVs!!!! thumb.gif

jen replied:
My call Buddy is Jessica! cool.gif
